Craft House Pizza - Preston Hwy — Restaurant in Louisville

Food was good. Majority of the service was extremely poor. The young girl in the hostess role was outstanding. She was clearing tables, seating customers, checking people out, sweeping floors, and doing take out. She was working circles around the waitresses. The waitresses were barely moving at a slow pace. None of them did much work at all. The dining room was not that pack. In fact I saw the hostess go to the back to get the waitresses to come out to take care of their tables. After we were seated for 20 minutes I went to the hostess to see if we were forgotten. We were not the only ones not being served. Again the hostess went to the back and got the waitress. We did our drink and food order at the same time to ensure we would not lose her again. She only returned to deliver the drinks and food. We were finished eating for 10 minutes before we got our checks. No refills and no follow up if we needed anything. In fact I got up and retrieved the Parmesan cheese from an empty table. I am patient and understanding with the current challenges of staffing issues. I am not understanding of people hiding from work which was my impression of the waitresses. Cassy!!!! Ran the place tonight literally the only waitress working while everyone else stood around! Asked for a manager because I was blown away from how this woman handled about 10 tables by herself! After I spoken to the manager then I started seeing the other people that worked there. Even the manager started helping! Nobody to help this woman until I spoke up is crazy to me! Me and my husband was on our way out the door and because of her we stayed we was seated and waited over 18 minutes before ready to walk out Cassy had a party of at least 15 people she was tending to so i had thought with all these workers walking around this was crazy that this lady was the ONLY ONE WORKING!!! She said I do apologize let me get your order in real fast she did and the food was delicious! Management needs to step up a place this should require team work maybe a more experienced management team may be a start! Thank you Cassy for making a not so good experience a good experience she went as far as willing to pick spinach out of my salad! Good help is hard to find step it up...

We found out tonight exactly why this location has the worst reputation. First we called to place an order to go, 1 large pepperoni regular crust pizza, 1 individual thin crust chicken bianca, a house salad with ranch and a medium cheese stick, should be simple enough you would think… wrong. The guy on the phone had us repeat every single thing each time we would say one thing and he would still get it wrong, so then he tells us it’ll be 15-20 minutes and it would be ready. So we wait 15 minutes then go inside just to find out the order was never even put in their system. So then we reorder everything and again another 15-20 minutes which ended up actually being over 45 minutes. We got the manager involved because it was taking so long and figured out they put it under a completely wrong name the second time. So we FINALLY get our food over an hour AFTER originally placing the order and we are eating and I find 2 long hairs in my salad so that went straight in the trash.
