King Donuts — Restaurant in Louisville

I felt appreciated from the moment I walked into King Donut. The owner was so friendly and thankful for my business. The dozen donuts I bought for my wife, my 20 month old daughter and myself were accompanied by a few free donut holes for my daughter to thank me for my first visit. AND my daughter was still in her car seat, so when I picked her up and reached for the donuts, he insisted on helping me out the door carrying the donuts himself. Now, I was the only customer, and that made it possible for him to make that extra effort, but it was the gesture of kindness and excitement he displayed to have me there... Plus, my wife and daughter thoroughly enjoyed the donuts as did I. Funny how I went for donuts, and although I seriously enjoyed them, the best part was the experience with the one who made them and served them! 5 out...

It's very rare I leave a review somewhere. But boy do I have to say that the hospitality that you get is like walking into your own home. The prices too are arguably the most ANTI-INFLATION thing I've had to deal with in a long time. I mean, i order a bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich with extra egg... and it's FIVE DOLLARS (and some change), and we're not talking about some hipster coffee shop sandwich that can be done in 2 bites because it's just a frozen microwaved piece of trash. The bagels here are as big as my hands and for someone who INHALES food, forces me to slow down, enjoy it, and feel full from it. You won't regret coming here... BUT GO EARLY. We have been wanting to try King Donuts since they moved into this shopping center and today finally had the pleasure of eating there. Firstly, their customer service is outstanding. The two people working were both very professional, cleanly and kind! Second, the donut selection and quality is large and delicious. We got a dozen random assorted donuts with 3 different smoothies (mango, strawberry, and caramel) Third, the price is very reasonable. (We paid around $20 for our order, if that helps you gauge it at all)

Overall, I definitely would recommend giving this newer...
