i made a mobile order for pickup at 3am as I would be driving past with a passenger I was transporting, setting the time at least 30 min in advance. i ordered 4 regular white castles, 6 impossible WCs, 2 fries, 2 sodas. when i arrived, the woman who appeared to be the manager sighed and groaned, i was a huge inconvenience to her as she had not yet even seen my mobile order. my passenger waited for over 20 min for what should have been a pop in pop out experience. the manager started yelling at the other two workers about a customer in the drive thru who wanted to add an onion rings to his order "NO YOU CANNOT LET THESE PEOPLE EDIT THEY ORDER AT THE WINDOW, JUS TELL DEMS NO!! THEY CAN GO BACK THRU THE LINE!" She already was mad about my order, especially the impossibles. She pulled the frozen ones out in the chunk and slammed them down the table. Clunk! She pried them apart with a spatula, and literally threw them on the grill and then looked up and glared at me like I had just killed her mother. She stopped when she was doing them to talk to another customer who come in that she knew, and was joking around and was laughing, while my uncooked stuff was just sitting there. She added no napkins or utensils into the bag, of course not. I had to ask twice for 10 mustards, even though I had written a comment about that specifically in the order I made. Driving some 10 minutes later, I took a bite into one of the impossible whoppers. It was still frozen and gross. I had to throw them all out. Read moreI walked into this White Castle at 10:22pm. The manager was at the register with an employee obviously counting down the employees drawer at the end of her shift. At 10:33pm, after standing directly in front of the register/manager whom never spoke, acknowledged my presence, nor made eye contact, I left empty handed, hungry, and frustrated. The manager or supervisor, a lady in her 50's, deserves all five stars, plus I'll throw in a couple of my own, for being able to stand facing me 3-4 ft apart and never giving the slightest indication she saw me. I mean never even raised her head. An absolutely perfect job of making me feel like I didn't exist and they had no need for my money. Had she sighed deeply or rolled her eyes I may have waited to place my order. Let me find out, unbeknownst to me, I have passed on to the other side. I'm a ghost and living out a real life...err...death Sixth Sense movie scenario. The next door I encounter I'm not going to open it, I'll simply walk through it. Then if I have a bloody nose I am alive. No bloody nose... I'm going to stop paying rent and use the money for some nice rattling chains, and 1000 thread count white sheet from the Martha Stewart collection. Filthy restaurant, out of supplies, out of food, out of drinks, staff working at a snails pace. Did the online complaint. Got a robosiged form letter from Jeffry Carper, Sr. VP Rest. Ops.We value our customers blah, blah, blah, here's a coupon for a free combo meal. I was in Louisville yesterday a little after 5pm and decided to give a different location another try. They refused to honor my free coupon. Said it must have a letter in front of the numbers on the coupon code. The coupon says it is good at ANY WC. Clearly that is not the case. This was after the employee yelled at me for not telling him about the coupon before I ordered. I just left. Done with WC. Don't waste your time calling or doing the online complaint at WC Corporate. They have no idea what is going on at their stores nor do they care. Spend your food dollars elsewhere or better yet, stay home and prepare your own food. If we all make dining out a rare experience we will save a ton of cash and many of these poorly run dumps like WC will have to close most if not all of their stores.
