La Sierra Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Louisville

The rating is based off of service. It was a busy day due to it also being Father's Day. I ordered an horchata which is a rice drink. And I thought it tasted weird and my husband agreed after drinking more it was when I realized it had limes in it... which is not normal. It was about 3 halves. When someone comes out with two tortas to our table we respond that was not what we ordered and verified with her that the limes were not normal and she took it away. Our waitress came back with the two tortas again. We respond that was not what we ordered. We ordered two gorditas and a soup called 7 mares. She showed us what she wrote and said no that we ordered the tortas and still expected us to take them. I refused and told her that I had also received my drink with limes because that had yet to be communicated to her and at that point she took our order. Here's the thing it was loud and it was crowded and I would not have minded as much if she had just admitted to taking the order wrong but instead she insisted that we were wrong. We were there a total of 2 hours which is ridiculous considering what we ordered I eventually went up to ask for our check because we were tired of waiting. My husband enjoyed the soup and I eventually received an horchata with no limes. I did not like the gorditas due to the meat being salty but that is not the reason for the review. They had a live singer/DJ there which was nice and I like the decorations a lot. The menu had a good variety though I cannot speak to the quality. It was our first and last time going there. It saddens me but maybe this will prompt some customer service training. Because other wise I would not have even made this review because I understand mistakes happen and that it...

Our business has given this restaurant multiple chances over the past few months, frequently ordering lunch for our team on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, 3 out of the 5 daily visits, our orders have been incorrect — we request simple ingredients to not be added in our tab but directions are not followed.

What’s more disappointing than the mistakes is the dismissive attitude when we try to address them. There’s very little accountability or willingness to make things right, which leaves us feeling like our business isn’t valued. There was a young woman there that gave blatant attitude and refusal to our paid requests. A few workers may apologize but give no solution nor compensation for these mistakes.

We wanted to support a local restaurant and be regular customers, but the consistent errors and lack of care have made that difficult. Hopefully, they take feedback seriously and work on improving both their order accuracy and...

Had the Lunch Burrito special (1 beef, 1 chicken) Well... The Beef was tiny cubes of rocks that USED to be meat... I think The Chicken was boiled in water for about 20 hours, then poorly drained and stuffed in a burrito wrap (Super soft, Watery, no flavor) There was a red sauce that was amazingly devoid of flavor... but it covered everything on the plate. Oh, on Sauce... If the waitress puts a bowl of Minty-Green dipping sauce on the table with the chips (5* for the crispy chips at least) DO NOT ASSUME IT IS A MINT BASED SAUCE. I tried it on a chip. Impressions: Oily.. Not much flavor.... Perhaps a hint of.................... Good lord... HOT-HOT-HOT-52-Alarm-HOT! (Liquid Wasabi mixed with a Ghost Pepper perhaps?)
