So my daughter and went to Long John silver's and A&W! The one on Preston hwy when we walked in NOBODY greeted us, finally 8mins later the young lady that was cleaning/mopping the lobby who didn't wash her hands before taking our order, my daughter got a plain chs burger with hush puppies I ordered a the sampler with chicken, fish, so i asked how long has that food been up (it was a lot) and she said oh about 3mins I asked how is that possible when i have been in here for 10 minutes and it's been sitting there the whole time? So I asked for fresh food they act like they had a problem with that when my daughter received her Burger it was cold and fully dressed so when I told them it was supposed to be playing she snatched it back and said well u didn't say that no I didn't but she told you she just wanted cheese meat and a bun how much more easier could I have explained that to you? So 3 minutes later my food came out there was so much grease on it it was disgusting I know it was a ree-drop so when I confronted them about that they should know that's fresh IDK about you I don't know of any place that cooks fish or chicken in 3 minutes! Read moreDecided after a long day of fishing we wanted some fish for dinner.. We got there and there was no wait to place our order in the drive thru, the drive thru was the only thing open, couldn't even walk in to place an order. It took us a minute but luckily we weren't rushed and no one was behind us because we had no idea what we wanted. Someone took our order and they were friendly however I didn't like the fact that after everything I said, they would say, "does that complete your order?" After I placed our order we got in the back of the line, there was 3 cars in front of us. We waited a few minutes and got to the window. The guy at the window was really nice and respectful, I even needed to make a change to one of my kids drinks and he was willing to do that for me. He handed us our drinks and had to ask us to move forward because they actually do the breading fresh and they had run out but they were getting it done. We pulled up for maybe 2 minutes, long enough for them to collect the next cars money and give them their food and drink. Our food came out, everything was there and fresh. The kids ate their food in the car and My husband and I waited til we got home. They loved every bite. Read moreI am giving this a one star based on the customer service I received today, and in the past. The drive thru lady Tanya is very rude. She acts as if you are annoying her when you pull up to the drive thru speaker. That voice is the first impression the customer receives and sets the stage for the whole experience. She acts as if she hates her job. Today I asked her once at the speaker and once at the window for tartar for my order. They had me pull up at wait a while for my food. I asked her a 3rd time about the tartar when she brought my food out and she told me she put it in the bag. After a long wait and a drive home there was not one pack of tartar sauce in the bag. I called and she answered saying she was the manager. She offered to make me one piece of fresh fish if I drove back up there, but the rest of the order was supposed to get cold and old? Insane. She handed the phone to another manager and I could hear her ranting and hollering in the background. He was nice BTW. I feel like he needs to take her place. If you read these reviews you will see this is a continuous pattern with her. I hear she has been there 15 years, but her presence don't seem to be helping the business.
