Weâve been regular Subway customers and have used our membership points many times without any issues â even at this exact location(7531 Outer Loop unit 5). But today, the experience was shockingly bad and disappointing.
We went in to order 4 footlongs and specifically asked for Italian Herb & Cheese bread, which is our favorite. The owner told us they only had 2 left. We agreed to make do â but then, right in front of us, another customer came in and was served the same bread we had asked for. It felt dishonest and disrespectful.
To make matters worse, when we tried to use our Subway membership points (which weâve used here before), the owner refused to let us use them. When we questioned it, he was incredibly rude and dismissive. One of our family members later called the store to clarify the situation, and the owner was once again rude over the phone.
Whatâs even more frustrating is that we have friends who work at this location, and they confirmed that yes â customers are allowed to use points. So why were we treated this way?
The behavior of the owner was completely unprofessional, and it left us feeling extremely disrespected. We will not be returning to this Subway, and we strongly recommend others...
   Read moreThis was several weeks ago. I hate giving bad reviews so I have procrastinated. So here we go....When we first walked up it seemed the workers were having a really good time. Laughing and having fun at their workplace. Which I love to see normally, but it only took a few moments to realize something else was going on. The young lady behind the register was looking at a notebook and we quickly learned that a customer had accidentally left it behind. She only went through the notebook for a few seconds from what I saw. At the time we really couldn't understand what was being said between them, but it was hilarious apparently, and from what I could tell the subject was changing rapidly. I don't mind teens serving and having fun but it was getting obnoxious very quickly. Then when my wife started to say something about our order to the cashier, she quite rudely said "Hold on" then continued her conversation that was not work-related.    Read moreI've been coming to this Subway for years.. Never really had many problems. Last night on my way home from work I decided to stop and get a sandwich for dinner. I get home and start to eat my sandwich, I get about four bites in and I notice at the end of the sandwich is a bug in the bread. I called and explained what happened. I was told to come in the next day and they would give me a replacement sandwich. I asked many times if I needed anything and was told repeatedly "no". So, it is the next day and after much contemplation I decided I did not want another sandwich, so I called to see if I could just get my money back. I was told that I needed to bring the sandwich and my receipt in. I explained the sandwich had been thrown away because I was told I wouldn't need anything.
