I don’t usually go to Taco Bell before midnight, but here is my experience; I enter the store at 7 pm on a Thursday to get food for me and a friend who was SA recently. Sitting at a table was a couple, one other person was waiting, and 1 car in the drive thru. I order from the kiosk, and wait at the counter to pay cash. In the next 15 mins, 10 or so people enter. The Team lead finally wanders over and lets me pay. I go back to waiting. For the next 30 minutes, I continue waiting. Finally deciding to get fed up I stand at the window angrily shaking my fist, tummy growling, til someone wanders over. This time Chris, the manager of this fine establishment, tells me my food is coming. Thank goodness. Only 10 mins later he asks me my name and grabs my order thats been sitting behind the counter for a bit now. I inform Chris, “the manager”, it took them an hour and it wasn’t even busy. He says, “next time you come in your meal is free”. I ask for a gift card for insurance. Chris says “don’t you worry my insurance is all you need”. My order was $12. Bit expensive and on the skimpier side of tacos in my experience. The next day, I come back at 3. After about 10 mins of counter waiting time, I begin pacing. I walk approximately 55 counter lengths, make many silly faces through the glass, then hit them with the “psycho stare” until they decide I’m a person that needs help. A girl asks how to help and I tell her Chris said I’d get a free meal and what that entails. She asks what I want, I say, “2 beefy 5-layers and a bean and rice”, feeling modest about my request. 5 mins later, the team lead from yesterday comes over, says he remembers me and informs me he can’t just give me a free meal just because it took a long time and wasn’t messed up. He said, “I can offer you and free taco for the inconvenience. I responded saying “this is all I can offer you”, while flipping a casual double bird and moonwalking out the door to my car. As I sit in my car the TL stares intently from the employee entrance door. I open my car door confused and stand up asking if he has something to say. He stands there, eyes wide, nostrils flared and says intently, “What’s good”?, like he was expecting me to fight him. I chuckle over the idea of fighting for a free burrito and tell him I’ll write a review and be on my way.
DO NOT USE THIS TACO BELL IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME. This business is a total money grab that won’t put the effort in to support the dream. Taco Bell is way too expensive, overhyped, and poor quality to exist as this one does. Good luck Charlie. I have been foolish and apologize to the good people in street stands and restaurants I have neglected over the years. My patronage will be yours, besides the very rare tbell run to a store other than the one on Taylor blvd. The Rally’s next door has always been fast and consistently decent to excellent food.
My trust is forever broken at this location.
With Peace...
Read moreIt's nuts it makes you have to leave a star period because I wouldn't this is crazy , the tall black heavyset male that would not give me his name that says he's the manager, cause I would have just posted it instead of the details of his appearance, was extremely rude basically threw my food in the box, after waiting 38 minutes with no reason why it took that long for six tacos and one burrito, that's the second visit , my third visit they were out of almost everything and didn't tell me until I ordered it on the kiosk already with my card , then says it will take 3-5 business days to get refunded what they couldn't provide,so not onlydid they not have what I order, but I couldn't even go buy food anyplace else cause my money was pending for three days to be put back on my card... This store has been open three weeks , what else could be a red flag here ,, and also since I'm being honest let's get all the truth out , good luck with calling corporate cause they don't ever call or email me back either , I have called and left messages and emails several...
Read moreI don't feel my order was too difficult but for some reason after receiving partial of my ordered I waited 15 minutes for them to give what was missing. I put my name on the receipt when I first placed it but for some reason they kept making Ashley's order but calling my name (it happens 3 times ) and I know I repeated my order 4+ times . It was a to go order but kids end up eating their stuff as we waited. The food was not warm or hot. So be prepared to preheat! I took my portion of food home since kids ate and it turn out my 5 layer burritos was just a bean burritos and I wasn't about to go back wait some more. Issues like this should have resolved in a free meal or refund but most of all a apology would be nice. I hope it getting better and not turn into...
