Astonishingly bad service.
I ordered five sliders with no pickle, a large drink, and medium fries. The screen wasn't working, but my order was repeated back correctly.
When I got to the first window they asked if I ordered five cheeseburgers and medium fries. I told them that it was supposed to be five regular burgers without pickles and that I had also ordered a large drink. The receipt I was given had the drink added but it still showed five cheeseburgers. At least they were no pickles now. The employee at that window had already ran off before I was able to correct them.
At the next window they tried to get me to pay for someone else's order until I gave them my receipt from the previous window. I explained that my order had been rang up incorrectly and said for the THIRD time that I wanted five regular sliders with no pickles and no cheese; just meat, onions, and a bun. They said they'd take care of it and had my order ready suspiciously fast. I gave it a brief check, and didn't see any cheese, so I incorrectly assumed I had finally found someone that was paying attention so I didn't check them more thoroughly.
Upon arriving home I discovered that they'd given me five sliders with EXTRA pickle. I tried picking them off, but they were already soaked in pickle juice.
I don't have any time left tonight to go back and ask this apparently deaf crew to make an attempt at correcting my order. I plan on going back tomorrow to see if they'll give me what I paid for. I was never given a replacement receipt after they took my first one, so we'll see how that goes. At least I paid with a credit card so I can get my money back if it...
Read moreI hate to say this but this White Castle ALWAYS disappoints. It’s been over a year since I tried to eat here. I have NEVER had a good experience at THIS location… NOT ONE, but I thought I’ll try again. Surely things have gotten better. Today, I ordered at 6:49pm and then sat in the drive thru for 10 minutes before the cashier handed me a bag and the order was wrong. So I sat for another 3 for them to get the order right. She didn’t check the order before she gave it to me but from past experience here, I knew to check it myself for accuracy before I left the window. The cashier could not have cared less that the order was wrong or that I’d been at the window almost 15 minutes. There was grease and tartar sauce all over the bag. I had to ask for napkins to clean it off. When I finally got the correct order and could leave… NONE of the food was hot.
A native of Louisville, I have loved White Castle ALL OF MY LIFE but this location is just notoriously substandard. Would I recommend this location to anyone for any reason? Absolutely not! Will I return to this location? No. Why would I - just to be disappointed AGAIN and sorry for going there in the first place. I have learned my lesson....
Read moreThis place is terrible. I ordered 20 sliders, with 4 drinks and 4 fries. After sitting at the window for 10min, the employee (who hasn't taken my money yet), hands me out a bag of food. I look in it to find chicken rings, motzerella sticks, and fries. After waiting another 5 min to get his attention, he then takes the bag of food back, calls for help (from what I assume is the manager on shift), and they have no idea what happened to my order, or if I even paid! After, losing my cool with them, I ended up driving off. I'll never return to this particular store. After I pulled out of the drive thru, I pulled into a parking spot at the restaurant, (to Google food near me, as my kids are crying they didnt get their white castle burgers), only to see them hand out the bag of food that mine and my husbands hands had touched looking to find our actual order. I was highly disappointed as we are rarely in an area, where there is a white castle near by. If we are lucky, during the school year, we will have the white castle truck around a time or two.
