Today I needed a coffee pick me up so I could study, Dunkin is literally 5 mins from my home so why not…did not know that I would wait for 15 mins in a drive Thur just to be told that it maybe better if I came in because the drive Thur staff was new. Lots of cars got out the line and went inside so I stayed in line a little while longer because now of course there would be a line inside. FINALLY decided to go inside, only one other person in there but staff was stressed, so I waited inside for another 15 mins or so. The entire experience was waaay too long and very annoying, but I can empathize with people running short staff and trying to do their best. Brianna was the staff member who stuck out the most, she seemed to be the shift lead or manager and had very good customer service skills! Although you could see that the working situation was not conducive she did all that was in her power to turn things around for the customer. She was attentive, she multi tasked, and she tried to accommodate as much as she could. She is the reason this store didn’t get a one star. This is not the first occasion that I’ve been to this location and experienced longer than normal wait times. I hope in the future this...
Read moreI already had a issue with the same young lady who wears the khaki pants. I’m unsure if she’s a manager or not but yesterday I went in to get my coffee and donut and when I walked in NO ONE acknowledged me. I already felt the tension when I walked in because everyone got quiet as I walked in. I’m assuming it’s because my last bad review, but I did not care. I can not stand her customer service! I waited at the counter because they prepared my coffee and not my donut. I said excuse me ma’am I’m missing my donut. She ignored me and proceeded to the sink to clean something so I laughed and shook my head. She later turned around and asked was I missing something. (She knows that I missing something) but whatever. I will no long be going to this franchise. I’m a lieutenant in law enforcement and I’m not going to be disrespected or have my food played with. My mother whose a deputy sheriff will longer be attending this DK as well as my step-father whose a regional fire chief for this county. It is ridiculous to sit at a coffee/ donut place for 30+ minutes. That was 30 minutes and still not have a coffee in hand. After waiting forever about 20-25 minutes, I finally get to the speaker at 7:57. I say hello at 7:58 because I haven't even been greeted yet, and I was told to hold one second. I waited until 8:02, still nothing so I pulled off. When I pulled off, there was 1 car at the window and looked like another car waiting to the side that had been there since I pulled in.
There should be no reason why it takes every customer 5 mins at the speaker BEFORE they order. It also should be no reason why the window person can't multitask by taking an order and taking money at the same time. This is coming from someone who worked fast food in the past. You only put your best people at the window because it should be FAST! Also, during busy hours we had 2 people, 1 to take orders and 1 to take the money. We also had secret shoppers to come just to make sure that our times are good. I'm convinced that nobody cares about good customer...
