I moved to Hampton a year ago and the one thing I can say about this Taco Bell/KFC location is that they are consistent. They consistently provide poor and rude Customer Service and they don't discriminate! No matter your color you get the same nonchalant treatment. This location needs a total overhaul from the employees to the management! The sign should just say Taco Bell because that is the only food they have on a regular bases. I guess it is easier to fix. They never have any KFC Chicken or Pot pies after 8 pm and the website says open until 12 midnight!!! This has not just happened once but almost every night!! Last night I stopped in after work at 8:20pm. Myself and another customer stood at the counter for 10 minutes while the drive thru cashier saw us and proceeded to ignore us while supposedly taking an order and texting on her phone. Obviously she can multi-task so I was confused how she did not acknowledge our presence. After saying excuse me several times she gives me look of disgust and finally yells out "front counter". A young man comes up from the back and tells me that the front counter is closed. Closed! And the front door is still open? Unbelievable! On another night same foolishness and I received these famous words: "We out of Chicken" or "We don't have no more Pot Pies" When I asked how can this be possible? I was told "we don't drop chicken after 8 pm". Really you close at 10pm, 12pm or is it whenever you feel like it? I am a cashier myself for a major facility and would never provide this type of service to my clients. If I did, they would complain to management. If the problem was not resolved my boss would not tolerate it and I would be jobless. This staff is one of a kind, they consistently give their customers, the ones that make it possible for them to get a check, rude service. They have an uncaring attitude and could careless about changing especially since by the other YELP and Google reviews this situation has been going on for YEARS!! Is it the surrounding neighborhood dynamics or has the owner made enough money and doesn't care about the community and the people HE serves. They say support local businesses but why subject yourself to the abuse. I'm done, I'll get my bird from the other side of town,.
If you want to be treated with respect for spending not only your hard earned money but your valuable time, don't go to this establishment. Save yourself the hassle and try some of the other restaurants in the area; at least they act...
Read morewent through the drive thru this evening in an attempt to give kfc my business. the first issue was I was told after ordering a large bucket of original recipe chicken, they only had 3 pieces of original recipe chicken! so in order to fill my order , the remainder of the chicken would have to be the extra crispy chicken. reluctantly i agreed, i had multiple cars behind me in the drive thru line and i just wanted to get home to feed my family.so, i had them give me the 3 pieces of original and the balance in extra crispy. second issue was the side item choices were next to nothing. i ordered mashed potatoes and gravy and got the mashed potatoes but no gravy? then i asked for green beans and was promptly told they didn't sale green beans any longer? but the green beans were prominently displayed on the drive thru ordering board and were back lit as a side item choice? finally Cole slaw was chosen as the third side item. the top on the container was not properly sealed and 80 percent of the Cole slaw was loose in the bag of the order, completely spilled out of the plastic container. this particular order comes with biscuits which were old and hard as a rock, just inedible! as I am handing the girl at the drive thru window my debit card, she and another young man working behind the counter were actually wrestling and play fighting!but the absolute worst part of this ordeal was when i got home to a hungry family, the 3 pieces of original recipe chicken was overcooked VERY badly! it was just awful! my synopsis here is that the staff were ready to go home so they refused to prepary anymore original recipe chicken so i got stuck with t6he extra crispy variety, they did not want to heat up any green beans so I was told they did not sale green beans, and they were obviously out of gravy for the mashed potatoes, so no gravy! this was a 437.00 ORDER AFTER TAXES AND NOT one facet OF THE ORDER WAS RIGHT and to top it off the staff were wrestling as I was trying to pay!!! looking at the owners responses to all of the prior poor reviews, I can see a generic "that's not right" and hit us up on twitter mentality! Read moreDO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY So today, I thought I was going to pick up a quick taco for lunch. Normally, I would just take a little extra time to grab a lunch special at a local Mexican restaurant and grab a couple of tacos. I haven't had KFC/Taco Bell in a while, so let's patronize this local business and spread my dollars to keep this establishment open. Little did I know that I was in for an afternoon NIGHTMARE!!! The employee or the manager knew of the $5 Craving box meal that I was ordering directly from the menu board. Gets to the window, and the price did not add up to what I was just ordered at the intercom. Again, both the manager and the drive-thru employee did not understand what was on the board, so I asked them; "What do you have that is a $5 box on the Taco Bell menu?" After the manager gives his spill, which still did not correlate with the menu board, I proceeded to order this $5 meal. Then I was asked to pull forward, and they would bring the food out. 15 minutes later, the order taker came out and asked, "What was your order again?" Again, we repeated the order. 20 minutes later we decided to go inside to see what's going on cause now we have waited 45 mins for basically 4 tacos and and 2 drink and I decided to get a refund for food that I don't have and go somewhere else to spend my money. Once in this location, the manager who called himself Josh yelled out, "We don't give refund. You should have seen that on the drive thur windows sign." After a few words exchanged, I decided to call the local PD to help resolve this issue before this became the top story on all the major news channels.
