Tokyo — Restaurant in Lovejoy

This place call Tokyo is magnificent. I am not a sushi lover but my daughter is, I went there to get an order for her and the customer service was top notch, exceptional. The food was amazing and now I love their fried sushi California style. The price is underprice. The customer service and food taste really impressed me. I took my daughter there and asked her to order our meal in Korean and the owner was so impressed and communicated with her back in both Korean and English and help her out some when she struggled with some of her words. When I told her my daughter has taught herself to read, write and speak Korean she was very happy to know and praised my daughter for being so smart and gifted. So i wanted to try this new place with my fiancé and upon getting the food the owner showed us real quick what the food looked like. I was shocked at the mediocre portion we received. I ordered the veggie meal and him the chicken meal. I knew immediately i would not be returning to this place based off presentation alone. So anyway we went home and ate the food which didn't taste well but due to being hungry we finished our meal. So i went to sleep and afterwards i wokeup with the worst stomach ache! I threw up and it was the worst! For 2 hours back and forth i was in the bathroom hurting and crying. Long story short please avoid this place...

The beef bulgogi here is hands-down one of the best I’ve had. The meat was super tender and full of flavor, perfectly marinated with just the right balance of sweet and savory. You could really taste the garlic, soy, and sesame in every bite. It had a great grilled char that gave it an extra depth of flavor without being overcooked.
