I will never go back to this place. I ordered a shrimp po-boy sandwich I was given an oyster po-boy, I didn't notice it until I got to the car, my friend noticed the receipt, which was stapled to the bag, said oyster instead of shrimp. I immediately took it back inside the restaurant and told the lady at the register. She got on the phone and was on the phone about 7 minutes talking to someone, she said she was talking to the chef in the back. They finally decided to get me the shrimp poboy but what appalled me is she took the food in the back that I walked outside with. she took it back and she took it to their kitchen, now I don't know what happened with that food in the back and I just opened it and looked at it, I didn't touch it however the fact that she took a food item that left their restaurant back into their kitchen makes me very nervous. She then proceeded to bring me out the shrimp po-boy she said someone ordered and just have not picked it up yet. I will never go back to this restaurant again because these are dangerous times and to take food back that left your restaurant, is not safe practice. I cannot imagine that they're throwing away all of that food that was prepared. So what they did with it makes me nervous and I will never eat here again. Obviously saving $10 is more important than making sure their customers are safe. Read moreI ate here yesterday and the steamed oysters was truly delicious. Great butter sauce, corn was perfect, but I got to give 2 stars because my fried calamari was Salty, and I'm not talking about a light salt I'm talking about Salty as if they was tossed in salt before and after cooking, that's how salty they was, and me being a chef, I understand sometimes cooks don't get every batch correct, but what made me give 2 stars is because I asked a lady can She ask the cook can I get something else or can I atleast get a new batch and she take the salty ones back. She told me "I'm not even gone waist your time" they not gone give You a new batch or a replacement of something different. We arrived at the location to walk in to an employee kid who was by the way was outside talking to some guy. We stood there waiting to be greeted and sat down. When no one came we sat down on the bench. After still waiting now 10 minutes still someone come out from no where on the phone with a rag on her head never acknowledge at all. Once she got off her call she never speak or say I will be with you or anything. Now, two other people show up and still no acknowledgment from the employee behind the counter. All of a sudden she comes around loudly asking if anybody have an online order.
