Waffle House — Restaurant in Fayetteville

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a waffle house. We arrived at 11:30pm, and we were never greeted. After 20mins of my family and I standing at a dirty table, finally someone came to wipe it down. She was upset that the table in front of us didn't tip. She took our drink orders and didn't return for another 20 mins. Came back took our meal orders but never came back with drinks which were a cup of decaf and regular coffee, hot tea and a kids sprite. After 30 mins, she came and dropped half my food order, still no drinks, my mom went to remind her. She returned with two decaf Togo cups and said all the mugs were dirty and walked away. We flagged her down asking for the other drinks, instead she came and dropped my waffle off. My grits and waffle came cold. After 10 mins or so she dropped my husband's waffle and his coffee. After about 5 mins my mom had to go ask again for her hot tea and my daughter's sprite. With the drinks she dropped my mom and daughter's waffles nothing else. My husband still didn't get his entree. Took another 10 mins to get an order of sausage and bacon and the rest of my husband's All star meal. Which came wrong. Now we know why they didn't tip her, she was terrible. But my husband is an executive chef and I work in the food industry also, we tipped still but she really did not deserve it. We never got refills. So when we went up to pay the bill, asked for refills and she looked at me like I asked her for money. Three years ago I said I would never go to a waffle house again. Now I know why SMH 🤯 This is a long review but I had to express how terrible it was. Plus it wasn't even busy only 12 ppl were in the whole...

This is a completely new review. My previous review was scathing. Suffice to say I was extremely disappointed in my service. It was a critique solely on the night shift as I don't go there in the mornings or afternoon. Now on to my new review.

The staff has changed and the service shows. Instead of the disgruntled workers who didn't want to take my order, the new staff actually had to stop taking orders because they were so swamped. They were pushing the food out too. One of the cooks sang the whole time. It showed me a worker who was happy to be working. I appreciate that. So for the crew I give a full five stars and my thanks. I'm so glad to have you at this waffle house.

My complaints on the food ranged from missing items to uncooked chicken to grease soaked bread on my sandwhich. That complaint is no more. My food was on point. 10/10. Cooked perfectly and quickly. It was so good I wish I had ordered a sandwhich for lunch tomorrow. Five stars for the food all day.

This waffle house has improved so drastically, you would think it was a different location. Thank you to the management for making the changes needed to have a happy customer. Thank you to the staff for doing an amazing job. And thank you to the singing cook who busted her back to knock out all those orders....

We normally have good service here but tonight...nope! The food was good but the service was terrible. The girl who took our order had the worst attitude. She greeted us with "what are you getting"? Then as we were telling her our order, she was humming, had headphones in her ear listening to music. When our food came up, my husband checked the food amd saw that the egg her ordered to go on top of his chicken melt was not on there and he was missing mushrooms in his hasbrowns. She proceeds to snatch the plate out of his hand and then tell her co-worker to charge us 40 cents for the mushrooms because she didnt hear him say mushrooms. I am not sure why she had such an attitude with everyone that came in but tonight just wasn't her night. She should have stayed home. We order waffle house from there often but if the service is going to be like that, we will have to either find another waffle house or just go on Sunday mornings when the service is...
