This is really disappointing. I have been going to this Chipotle for years. In the past they have always been so helpful and on top of orders. However, in the last couple months, their service and attention to details has seriously been lacking.
A couple months ago they had to close due to staffing issues, which is understandable, but they didn't turn off their online ordering. Unfortunately, I did order online and when I went to pick up my order, I found that they were closed and could see their online POS system on from the window. While trying to call to get a refund, no less that 20 people came to pick up their own online orders and probably a quarter of them were delivery service pick ups. I got the refund eventually, but it was still a couple of weeks before I even dare order online from them.
Since then, I have gone back a few times. I noticed that stations were dirty even during a lull in customers, the drink stations weren't stocked and floors and tables hadn't been cleaned. Now if there were only a couple of people working there, I could understand they probably hadn't gotten a chance. A lot of the time however, I would notice people just standing around behind the counter or in the kitchen area not doing anything.
Then today. I ordered via Door Dash a steak burrito bowl with guac, pico de gallo, corn & sour cream. What I got was no steak, but black beans instead. I don't know how someone confuses steak for black beans because the sticker on the lid of my order clearly says steak, but apparently someone did. I tried calling the store, but no one answered the phone. I eventually just reached out to DoorDash and got a refund via them. I have received incorrect orders before. Once I even got someone else's order despite the bag being marked as mine, but I have learned my lesson and will not be ordering online from this store again.
Hopefully one day, this Chipotle will become the nice clean and welcoming store it once was, but until then I will be...
Read moreThis is a new location, so there's always going to be kinks to iron out. However, let me give my 2 cents.
Been here twice, both times every open table in the dining room was filthy. Not a great look.
First visit, the chips were so unbearably salty I couldn't eat them. I had try to scrape the salt off, but it was just everywhere. The food was also extremely over seasoned. Someone in the kitchen obviously likes heavily seasoned foods and is translating that to the food here. Please dont! Stick with the proven Chipotle recipes!!!
Second visit, again tables were filthy. The chips were back to normal, so that was a plus. The food however had not improved from its super seasoned status.
I will say that both times, the line help was very friendly and not slow. Just need to work on cleanliness A LOT and, most importantly, stick with the recipe!
We're super excited to have a Chipotle in our area, if these issues are ironed out it will be perfect.
Thanks!
Update- 9/2/17:
Tried it again, all was well with this trip. Minus the still dirty dining room.
Update- 9-25-17:
Oh no! Terrible again! 5pm on a Monday, no line. Few people in the dining room, yet the service was incredibly slow. The make line was sparsely stocked, and the help seemed less than happy. The dining room was in shambles once again, and I had try to shimmy the last few drops out of the only green Tabasco left. Maybe I wouldn't notice or care if just one of these things was a problem, but its consistently all of them and its dragging down my normally delightful burrito experience! Help!
Again, still kind of new, but it doesn't take experience to know to clean your dining room, or to know to stock your line before dinner. These problems come from management and should be addressed. We want our Chipotle to be the best! At this rate I'll be driving to Mason for my burrito fix like I...
Read moreI ordered a burrito bowl with guacamole through the Chipotle app and requested delivery. I was alone at work, so I couldn't leave to pick my order up in store. Delivery arrived on time, however, when I open the bag to start my meal, there are no utensils, no fork, no napkins....nothing to use to consume the food I just purchased. I have to wait 45-50 minutes until one of my employees come in for their shift so I could go down the street to the restaurant to obtain a fork to eat my now ice cold meal and to voice my frustration. The gentleman behind the counter who was wearing a suit (I assumed he was the GM or a territory manager) asked me what was wrong. I explained my story, and to my surprise, I did not get an apology or anything! In a state of shock, he then told me they do not provide forks and utensils with take out orders as this is a push to reduce waste. I asked him if this was a joke, and then what he thought I should have done...carry a fork around with me in case I decide to order Chipotle today? His response was that I could have "used my hands" and that "it is a millennial thing, and I should try it sometime". Are you kidding me???? At 33, I can assure you that this is not a practice that ANYONE in my generation participates in. Nevertheless, I grab my fork and go back to work to start in on my ice bowl, and what do you know....the guacamole that I paid extra for was made up of 75% avocado pit! After nearly breaking my teeth on this cold monstrosity that has now been an hour and a half in the making, I surrendered to this disgusting pile of garbage and admitted defeat. This was by far one of the most bizarre and worst food experiences in recent memory. Never again will I give a penny to this rude, unprofessional and embarrassing excuse of a...
