Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Symmes Township

We came her before my oldest boys Talent Show and we were in a hurry the day we visited. In retrospect I wish we had gone to another location b/c we have had issues in the past. Our waitress was nice but seemed to be tasked with other duties. I ordered the Green Way since it was Saint Patricks day and a Chilito. My wife got a small 3 way and a order of chili cheese fries.

It took over ten minutes to get our food. I am not sure what happened but at one point our server was headed out with what looked like part of our food but returned to the kitchen area. Then went to do something and was gone for at least five minutes mind you our food was done. It came out and the food was just okay. The fries were cold and seemed to be soggy.

Slowest service we have ever had here today. Server was busy talking at another table for extended period of time, food took quite a while longer than the norm at a Skyline. Cheese was half melted on our food due to the amount of time it had sat at steam table, and it was warm, not hot. When we tried to pay, it seemed everyone was too busy to come to register. Manager was working drive-thru. 2 people were in food area but not actively making anyone's order at the time. Our server was getting drinks for another table and another was sweeping. Not one person came to register to take our money until my husband finally made a comment after standing there for 5 min. Had to track server down to get refills on drinks. We visited this establishment on a Friday evening because we were in a hurry and Airline is a pretty quick place to eat. While it was kind of busy only a quarter of the tables were occupied while another quarter of them all lied covered in dishes. While the service was quick and friendly our food came out wrong and lacking quantity compared to the other Skylines we have visited. My wife wanted to send back both her three-way and the coney she received. There was hardly any chili on her 3-way and the coney was supposed to be a chili cheese sandwich.
