Firstly let me say that we have ordered take out from you on a few occasions and have always enjoyed your food.....no complaints whatsoever. The reason for this review and the one star is because my husband, son and I decided to have our Christmas Day dinner at your restaurant today. (we have no extended family here in Cincinnati to spend Christmas with so thought we would eat out on Christmas Day). I called you last week to ask if you were open on Christmas Day and if I need to reserve a table. I was told you were open, usual business hours and that I did not need to reserve a table. To be on the "safe side", I called again yesterday afternoon (12/24) and, again, the young lady confirmed you were open and I did not need a reservation. My husband even checked google before we left the house today and it said "currently open, closes at 9:30pm". So we got dressed up and made our way there this evening at 7pm. YOUR RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED!! I am sure you can understand our disappointment. Not only were we looking forward to our Christmas Day "family night out", but also, we are now back at home upset and hungry as we were unable to find another restaurant, suitable, that was open at this late hour! We called you from outside the restaurant hoping for at least a message informing people of your change of opening plans today, but the phone just rang. If it was not Christmas Day, we would certainly not be this upset. Could you not, at least, have put the change on your Google listing informing people of your last minute plan to close this evening? I am really upset that our Christmas Day has ended with myself and my family upset, hungry and having to settle for ham and cheese sandwiches as our Christmas Dinner!!!!!! Read moreUnfortunately I will not be ordering from here anymore. I have ordered several times and the food is good. The customer service however is not so good. I ordered online and made a mistake and accidentally ordered one order of chicken tikka masala, and one order of chicken tikka. I intended to order 2 orders of tikka masala. When I walked up to the counter the lady read my order and I said "oh no I made a mistake, I meant to order two tikka masalas." The lady went back to another woman and talked to her. When she came to the counter she spoke to me very aggressively saying "This is an online order, this isn't our fault" and I said "oh I know it is absolutely my fault but could I change my order?" It was obvious she was annoyed and she said she would see what she could do, then said she would tell the cooks, my order wasn't ready yet anyways... I told her I would pay for the order... even though the item I ordered was more expensive... she made me think she wouldn't make me do that. When I came out of the bathroom she said "the cook said NO CHANGES"... so I had to pay for another order and told them to throw the wrong order in the garbage. I have never been treated this way in a restaurant. She kept saying they were just so busy... there were 3 tables in the restaurant, and several to go orders waiting. I understand that these places are overwhelmed right now and short staffed, but none of that justifies this kind of treatment to customers. My online order was placed at 6:41, pick up time was 7:11. Read moreI will start off by saying that we have eaten here tons of times and it’s been great every time. However, today we ordered something and were brought the wrong order and it was a dish I had one bite of because I was taking the rest home. We already had our to-go boxes and I put the food in there not realizing it wasn’t the correct food I ordered. When I told the lady there about the error, she took my to go box to the back I guess to show the cook with my other leftovers in it. She came back and verified it was a mistake and asked if I still wanted it. I told her I would like to have a very small portion of what I actually ordered, I didn’t need an entire new dish since I wasn’t going to waste the food I was given. I believe there was a bit of a language barrier but she scooped the food out of my to-go box and took it to the back. I’m not sure why she didn’t just leave it in there since I’m hoping she was just going to throw it away and not put it back😂 She made it clear that I wasn’t getting any “extra” food for “free”. I really just wanted what I came there to get because I love it and was content with not wasting what I was given and adding the other to it. It was very strange and not food safe.
