Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Loveland

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Freddie’s. I attended the nearby high school growing up and sometimes I would walk over to Freddie’s during lunch with my friends and I always had a good experience. I have no idea how Freddie’s managed to completely ruin their reputation and service. I hadn’t eaten there in years since I graduated, but I was looking forward to grabbing a bite after a long shift at work. Normally I don’t go out to eat ever, but I decided to treat myself. Not only did I wait 20 minutes at the drive-thru window after paying, but the food was absolutely unacceptable. When I got home and opened my food I was appalled to find out I received cold fries and a raw chicken sandwich—completely inedible and unsafe, needless to say I lost my appetite. To make matters worse, I was the only customer there, so there was no excuse for the delay or the poor quality of food. This kind of service is completely unacceptable. If I were an employee there I wonder how I wouldn’t feel completely ashamed knowing what I was serving. It’s clear from the other reviews I read that they have absolutely no integrity with an automated response and then no follow up. I don’t think I will ever be returning. Lesson learned; always check your food at the window before driving away, and I feel I was robbed of my money. It’s extremely heartbreaking to see the place where you shared many good memories with friends become repulsive. If you're looking for a meal that’s safe, hot, and properly prepared, look elsewhere, and there are way better options in the area for way less money and better...

Freddy's is a chain of burger and custard places. Somewhat similar to a Culver's or Good Times, if that helps.

This particular Freddy's has good burgers and sundaes. Though, I've had a couple where the custard was over-turned and had some ice crystals in it. Still tasty, though. The burgers can sometimes be a tad salty, as well. But they're pressed thin and get those crispy edges, which are delicious.

Drive-thru service is usually pretty slow during lunch/dinner. I think efficiency could be improved here. I know they grill to-order, but if I'm behind 5 or 6 people, by the time I hit the window I would think my burger was plenty done and ready to go. I usually end up waiting for my food at the window, even when I've spent 10-15 minutes in the drive-thru line.

Overall, tasty eats. This is a good spot to treat yourself. But, don't expect it to be super-fast. If you're in a hurry, I'd recommend finding someplace...

I'll start off on a positive note : The staff was polite and friendly... On another note we went through the drive thru and the dumpster area is located on the southwest corner of the drive thru ..it SERIOUSLY smelled like rotting death 🤢🤮 by the time we got to the window to get our food I wanted to vomit...we could still smell it at the pickup window and it was NOT hot outside. When we got home our fries which we normally love were so staid and rubbery and the meat on my pattie melt was dry like jerky... I've only eaten at Freddy's 1 other time at the north end of Loveland and liked it...but this particular location needs some help with the quality of the food they are serving to their customers ...it should be fresh no matter what time it is. And that dumpster area needs some serious attention...please as a customer address and fix these issues...
