Golden Corral Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in Loveland

I don't usually go to Golden Corral very much since I was a kid, because I felt like they really started to go down hill from the lack of variety to the cold stale food but... THIS specific location in loveland Colorado has definitely restored my faith in this chain because It used to be my absolute go 2 restaurant! And then like I said they started going "down hill" in my opinion, but to add to the fact that they actually keep it tidy and the food is actually fresh, the staff is great!!!! Not only do they keep a good attitude and are very "on the ball", but today while my husband and children and I were having dinner the young person who was checking on us, assigned to our section, had a moment of illness and was in need of a break to help level out their sugars, My husband is a diabetic so I know how important it is to seek help or treatment in a timely manner, in this case the server needed some food and hydration as they were visibly shaky, though I have to say this server tried their best to push through but the amazing coworkers and manager were quick to notice and made sure this individual had the proper help so they could continue to do their job! It was just amazing to also see the staff work together as a team to make sure everyone including staff was well taken care of while also providing the best food thank you again for the great food and keep up the good work

I also want to add seeing things like the staff keeping close eyes on eachother on top of everything else definitely shows me that you run a "well oiled machine" type of...

I visited on Thanksgiving for a turkey dinner to go. The place was packed. The line to get in was nearly out the door. It looked, on first glance, like total chaos. However, once I got past the shell shock, I quickly noticed that the 'chaos' was actually a well oiled, highly functioning machine. The staff running around did so with smiles; the manager was here, there, and everywhere, but in a very helpful way. I wish I could remember his name - the man was terrific. He went out of his way to accommodate me despite it being within an hour of closing time, and him clearly being tired from a very long day serving hundreds of customers and not being able to enjoy the day with his family. He even offered a discount on my takeout when I presented a coupon that didn't actually apply to a Thanksgiving meal at Golden Corral (my fault for not reading the entire coupon). In that way, he definitely went above and beyond, and was genuinely happy to help out. The food was what lovers of GC expect: I had two types of turkey, rice, potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and rolls. The turkey was cooked thoroughly but not dried out, the gravy had bits of turkey in it, rice, potatoes and rolls were very good, as well. All in all, this was a very nice experience made even better by the all-star staff led by a caring and willing to please manager. Uodate: Visited again on Sunday 11/20/23. There was no line at noon, but the place was very crowded, as usual. The food was excellent! Better than the last time I was there. The sirloin steak, turkey, veggies, potato's, salad fixing, and deserts were all delicious. Our server was very attentive, friendly, and made the experience more enjoyable. Bottom line -- for the price, it's an unbeatable value. Highly recommended.

Older review: Went for Thanksgiving, and it was most excellent! The turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy were all very, very good. The salad bar was great, too. All the veggies were crispy fresh, with lots of choices and dressings. Plenty of fruit, and the bakery area was nothing but sweet temptation! Brownies, pumpkin pie, apple pie, rice krispy treats with chocolate, and, of course, soft serve ice cream and toppings. The coffee was fresh and good tasting. Most of all the service was great! Our server, Sara, was the hardest working person on their staff. She needs to be promoted to manager, because she's got the experience, and really knows what she's doing in the restaurant business.
