Came here on their soft opening - so we got a few slices for free which was really nice.
The Colorado kid was absolutely delicious - tasted just like a dessert pizza and seemed to sell out quickly.
My wife enjoyed their Margherita pizza and we shared our slices that she and our daughter got - which was the Colorado kid, the Margherita, their deep dish pepperoni and purple potato pizza slices.
I only dropped this place from a 5 star to a 4 star mainly due to seeing how expensive a single slice of pizza was (some almost $8!) All 4 slices we got were also a bit burnt - but no biggie as I’m sure the staff were stressed on having to quickly pour out pizza.
The purple potato pizza was pretty good - but the pesto on it was just too much, a bit too over powering for our tastes.
Our daughter didn’t touch her pepperoni pizza because it was too burnt - so my wife and I shared it, we both thought the crust and bread was delicious however.
I definitely recommend this place - just be prepared for it to be pricey than most of the other local pizza shops...
Read moreTried this new place that we've heard so much good about. Disappointed that we can't add pizza toppings to specialties, only remove them and I specifically stated very light sauce due to sensitivity concerns. Came out extremely sauced. "Create your own" can only have 3 toppings max. We like the grandma crust but the rest of the pizza is mediocre, nothing to write home about, especially for the higher price. We also tried their vodka sauce pasta and the noodles were mixed-some hard and difficult to chew, others doughy in the middle. Seemed like leftovers they had to get rid of. Sauce was good though. Meatballs, however, are very good and tasty. Thought the manager would visit the tables but didn't, actually avoided helping us when we needed to go items. The music was way way too loud for that small space. We couldn't hear each other talk so we boxed up and left. We're glad we tried it but won't return, it's just...
Read moreMixed review. My family and I tried some of their New York Slices (cheese and pepperoni) and a Sicilian Slice (Traditional). The pizza was crispy, no flop, had a char on it, and the crust on the Sicilian was airy. However, the flavors were a bit bland in my and my wife's opinions. The Sicilian slice was also towing the line between charred and burnt as my wife passed on eating her crust. The service was good as employees were friendly and the owner was going around to tables hyping up the pies. The prices are also the highest I've seen for pizzas in the area and we just don't feel the pizza was worth that price. I'll try it again as I want to give their Detroit style pies a shot. Overall a decent pie but not living up to the hype and not worth the...
