Being that we love our favorite local seasonal whippy dip, we've go often. In the beginning with the new owners, it was great seeing them there, however since then, you rarely ever see an adult. It's usually just teens there. Most of the time they seemed bothered you're there and are not friendly. We've seen them standing around and loudly having inappropriate conversations and using foul language about the latest HS drama. Yesterday, we went for usual Sunday evening treats: a milkshake, chocolate in a cup with sprinkles and a small chocolate cone with sprinkles. We placed our order while in the drive thru line (love this). When I got to the window, there was nobody to be seen. The girl finally came to the window with all 3 things, hands me the very melted cone first saying "I'll give you this first since it's starting to melt". They clearly fixed the cone first and let it sit while they made the other items. Needless to say the cone was so melted and running down my hand/arm i had to toss it. With this plus the lack of adult presence, higher prices and never consistently with the servings, we'll be taking a break. I really hope the owner reads these and makes the right changes to keep us long time customers...

Just tonight, I again had a messed up order. Wrong ice cream flavor and wrong toppings. They weren’t busy and it wasn’t someone else’s order. Just not paying attention to what they are doing and too busy gossiping.
Also, as several other reviewers recently stated, they don’t consistently fill the cup or cone. Often the special sundaes are half the size of what is on display in the window.
Feels like they are rushing through things and making lots of mistakes. They are mostly high school kids so I cut them a break. And for the most part, they are friendly and try to correct the error. But r hey seem like this is more a social activity than a job. I don’t put this on the kids. The owners job should be to teach and support them to do their job with quality the first time.
It’s a shame. I like the ice cream and want to support local businesses. But I will be taking a break and hoping they can get things together. I hope the owners read these...

So weird. 🤔 I remember the Dairy Whip when I was a child. It was the best place to go. Recently, my 7 year old niece wanted a waffle cone with the candy eyes but was refused that because they don't put toppings on the waffle cones? We figured okay maybe we can get them on the side but nope. One worker was even lectured for putting them on because neither of us knew it wasn't allowed at the time.. It is a childs ice cream... I am honestly just sad for my niece because she didn't understand nor did I as an adult. I would understand if it were some odd, inconvenient request but it was so simple.. I've always had great experiences so this was shocking then to berate an employee who clearly didn't know it was an issue either.. I don't know if it was just a bad day or what but I hope something can be figured out or atleast a sign being posted of what they...
