I recently had the pleasure of attending my high school reunion at Bishop's Quarter in Loveland, Ohio. The venue was absolutely perfect for our event. The space is large and airy, with plenty of room for our group to mingle and celebrate. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure that we had a great time. We were particularly impressed with the atmosphere at Bishop's Quarter. The space is beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting feel. There is also a large outdoor patio that is perfect for enjoying a drink or a meal al fresco. Another big plus for Bishop's Quarter is its proximity to the Loveland Bike Trail. This is a great option for guests who want to get some exercise or explore the surrounding area. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Bishop's Quarter. The staff was awesome, the atmosphere was perfect, and the location was convenient. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a special event. Here are some specific things that I liked about Bishop's Quarter: * The staff was friendly and attentive. They were always willing to help us with anything we needed. * The food was delicious. We had the roasted chicken and the pasta dishes, and both were cooked perfectly. * The drinks were great. We tried the signature cocktails, and they were all very refreshing. * The atmosphere was perfect for our event. It was a large space, but it didn't feel too crowded. * The location was convenient. It was just a short walk from the Loveland Bike Trail. I would definitely recommend Bishop's Quarter to anyone planning a special event. It is a beautiful venue with excellent service and delicious food.

Have been to Bishop's Quarter a few times. Last night we enjoyed dinner drinks with our meal. The Bishop’s Berry Sour has Wheatley Vodka, raspberry, lemon, egg white, simple syrup and what looked like a charred lemon garnish. Very good drink - tart but not too sweet. I also had a Melon Margarita, which has Corazon Tequila, watermelon liqueur, lime, simple syrup, and a couple Sour Patch Watermelon candies for garnish. A lot sweeter - no surprise though given the description - but very tasty. For food we started with the Loaded Tater Tots. They have Colby Jack cheese, bacon, pickled Jalapeño peppers, and are drizzled with ranch. The key for this was it was cooked great and was hot. Tots were crunchy, pieces of bacon were big, and lots of cheese. Didn't get a picture since we devoured it. For my entree I got the tour of New Orleans. It had Blackened Grouper with a crawfish cream sauce, grits, a crab cake, gumbo, and I asked for the Brussels sprouts in place of the corn saute. The grouper was cooked well and the sauce was a great compliment. The grits were good and went well with the meal. The crab cake was about half crab and half cake. The mix was good and so was the remoulade sauce for dipping. The gumbo was yummy. The Brussels sprouts must have been baked because they were not great at all, but they were crispy and flavorful. Some of the best ones I've had. Way too much food but I ate it all and was stuffed! The service, food, and atmosphere were all great. The location is awesome and we walked around Loveland and stopped at a couple places for beers after. Will definitely be back to Bishop's Quarter!

It was a beautiful day to spend in Loveland, first kayaking, then eating lunch here. We had great service, and the rooftop was enjoyable outdoor sitting. We ordered: 1. Brussell sprouts - great flavors, a little more al dente than I would have liked but made for great dipping in the remoulade sauce. (4/5 🌟) 2. Dry rubbed bayou wings - these were prepared well, crispy outside and juicy inside. The dry rubbed spices were great, but I would love a little more heat 🔥. The blue cheese that accompanied was also pretty tasty. (4/5 🌟) 3. Grilled chicken sandwich - standard sandwich, executed well. It needs a little kick of something to elevate. (3.5/5 🌟) 4. Fries - these were delicious and prepared well with great seasoning. (5/5 🌟) 5. Tour of New Orleans - the SO ordered and thoroughly enjoyed. His favorite was the blackened grouper and grits. (5/5 🌟) 6. Buffalo chicken poutine - the poutine base was delicious. The Buffalo chicken today was dry and didn't elevate the dish. (4/5 🌟) 7. Prime time sandwich - the friend who ordered rated a 4/5 🌟. 8. Strawberry 🍓 smash 🍸- this was prepared well, refeshing, and wasn't overly sweet. (5/5 🌟 )

Went here with my husband, sister, and brother in law for dinner. We sat at a table on the 3rd floor. Our waitress started out ok got our drinks in and ordered food. Each couple got one appetizer and a meal to split as we had ate a few hours prior so we weren’t terribly hungry. Food came out all together, we had subbed the fries for Brussel sprouts but the order ended up being wrong and we had to wait a bit for the server to come over to get the correction. My brother in law waited 10+ mins for ketchup my husband ended up grabbing it from another table that had just left. Waitress never checked to see if we needed refills my husband had to take all 4 drinks up to the bar as he approached the waitress was taking a shot. He came back to the table we waited an additional 5 mins for her to come back with our drinks after he took them up. After we finished our meals (needing another refill - decided to call it quits on getting checked on) we asked for our bill she came back with the bills ($40 per couple) we waited 20 more mins trying to cash out so we could leave she never came over. Husband had to take the bill up to the bar where he finds our waitress grinding on a guy dancing to music taking a shot. At this point we were so over the bad service we both decided not to tip as my husband was basically our server the entire meal usually I tip no matter what lowest tip I’ve ever given is $5 at a low class place so this was out of the ordinary for us not to tip at all. As we left and walked to the elevator she came out and yelled “I appreciate that!” Very sarcastic and rudely. My husband went back in asked very nicely “excuse me what did you say? She said “ I said I appreciate that” he said I’m sorry, but the service you provided was awful. Another guy jumped in between him and her like my husband was doing something wrong and that guy ended up telling my husband that he was sorry about it and he was good. We left and went downstairs where my husband asked to speak to a manager. The manager lady came over and acted like it was no big deal and told him that it looked like a heated conversation upstairs and Tahj had to step in my husband said no it wasn’t heated at all I just asked her what the problem was and she didn’t like it she came at us. If she would have done her job we would have tipped. She should have taken accountability and saw she did a terrible job especially when we were her ONLY table she had to tend to! She was to busy dancing and taking shots. The manager said that the owners don’t mind that they have just a little shot that’s there policy. It’s an awful policy when your waitresses are to busy getting turnt up and not doing there job they get paid to do. If you want crappy service and an alright scenery I’d suggest it. Not to mention we had to yell across the table to hear anything the other couple were saying. Very disappointed. I do however commend The Wicked Pickle, Ramseys, and the Taphouse! Excellent service at...

Walked in on a Tuesday and found no indicator of whether you were to be seated or just find a table and hope someone notices you sat. Went to the end of the bar to ask the bartender but didn't get acknowledged. Two servers walked to the other end, near the door, to input orders I guess and I asked them. Abscently told just to find a table.

Okay. Not an impressive beginning of what could be a long relationship.

With this first visit we stayed on the ground floor. The bar is beautiful. The seating is open and not overly packed together which is a huge plus. The menu was light, which is a good sign after watching Kitchen Nightmares where the restaurants in trouble have these mega menus that get culled down to simple and basic.

Cocktails that were their specialty were $10. My husband got one and enjoyed it. It was smaller than mine but cost more. I ordered a basic mojito. I go basic with new places. If you can't get that right, I'm not going to order topshelf and pay dearly for a bleh drink. It was $8. And just...meh. What I like about the mojito is the muddled sugar, lime and mint. It had floating mint but that was about it. Next time I'll order my Perfect G&T and see how they handle it.

For food, the prices were a bit on the dear side. The largest meals offered were "Small Plates" but priced at full meals elsewhere. I'm not a cheap person, I'll drop 2 to 3 bills on dinner when it's worth it, but I expect them to bring it when it's going to cost more. $15 for six shrimp and about 1/2 to 3/4 cup grits is high. And that's all you get. No salad, no other side. My DH ordered the Blackened Fresh Catch with Red Beans & Rice for $13. I found the pricing for that weird. Usually fresh catch is more because of what's involved in transporting "fresh" catch. Seems like it should have been reversed, although I think the shrimp still would have been over priced.

The food tasted great! It was delicious. I really enjoyed my shrimp and grits dinner. I loved the size of it. Not too much. I just didn't care to pay the price of a full meal. My husband ate every bite of his but for the fish skin, cuz who wants to eat that???

Overall service was timely and engaging. I can't say how long the process was to check-out because I only use cash in restaurants anymore due to having my cc number lifted one too many times. I did let her know we left cash and she should swing by and pick it up as we were exiting.

We'll go back, try out the second and the third floors. I like to give places several opportunities before writing them off. I think this one could be a terrific place if they would modify a few basic things: like letting people know at the door how they are supposed to get seated or better yet, actually being greeted, even if it's just a shout-out. It shows engagement. I'd like to see smarter pricing but really don't hold out a lot of hope for that. For what we spent there we'd have had a nice steak and leftovers for lunch...

I went last night for a friend's birthday. The building is beautiful, the decor is interesting and engaging, and checking out the website ahead of time made me excited for the night ahead. Unfortunately, the inattentive service and lack of attention to detail left our whole group unhappy and I won't be back anytime soon.

After arriving, and not being greeted, I took a seat with my group. More than 15 minutes went by until my first interaction with staff - a busboy who took some empty glasses from the table, who said that he couldn't take our order but would get us a server. After another 5 minutes of no attention, I went to the first floor bar to order a round for my table. Despite the fact that there were 4-5 bartenders, bussers, and servers running around behind the bar, nobody even acknowledged me as I tried to make eye contact and get someone's attention. Eventually a server walked over to my table, so I left the bar to be part of that order.

My friend ordered a frozen strawberry margarita, which was brought over as a plain, on the rocks margarita. A hurricane was brought without pineapple juice "because we're out, and someone is running to pick some up from the store." 15 minutes later a server brought a rocks glass full of pineapple juice, and told us to add it to the half- finished hurricane - which we did - only to be told 10 minutes later that the rocks glass actually contained a pineapple martini which someone else had ordered.

The vanilla old fashioned had 3-4 times the simple syrup that it should have. It tasted like soda. We added another shot of bourbon to it, and arrived at something still too sweet to finish. There were flies everywhere, a decent regular margarita became less pleasant when a new bartender started topping them with soda water.

The wine list had two headings, "white" and "red," each with about 6-8 options. Some had grape variety without the winery, ex. "Rioja $12" - others had a winery, but no grape. None had counties listed.

At this point we discussed ordering oysters, but agreed as a group that we didn't trust this place enough to take the chance.

Someone in the group said that the service might be bad because they're busy, but the room we were in had a capacity of 44, and there were about 15 people in 2-3 groups. It's a covid world, and they weren't full.

After settling our bills, we went up to the 3rd floor, which redeemed the place somewhat. Music was good, and the bartenders upstairs were attentive, friendly, and competent.

Overall a disappointing experience in a place that looks incredible and could...
