I have lived in Loveland for 41yrs! I grew up on the river, East Kemper Rd! It has always been like I'm surrounded by love! "Loveland" that's what it meant to me! The carnivals we had when I was a kid, having the river right in front of my house. Fishing everyday, swimming with a tire swing, going exploring the creeks and Little spots. I mean it was the best in every way! What I'm going to say is just my opinion or experiences in the past 4-5 yrs living here! The taxes keep going up. The levy that passed that was for the "children" its not! Making kids park at a park at a park with traffic and then walking and crossing the road??? I was blown away. That to me is not protecting Loveland kids!! It is do compacted down in what I call old Loveland by the bike trail. All the restaurants, stores etc. We were a small quiet town and I know things change but I feel like Loveland Is trying to push out all the "middle" class and "lower" class like in a certain area away from the actual town of Loveland! I mean I take my dog to the park, every park and majority of people are so rude or just walks by. Everyone knew everyone and we took care of each of other! It just breaks my heart all the people I know that I will not mention period because it's not my place and its wrong! People who lived here 25 30 yrs forced out of there homes pretty much! The apartments down in old Loveland??? Like when you have parking on both sides of the road I swear I have came so close to swiping a vehicle because it is so compacted. I'm not complaining and like I said I know with time things change but to what degree??? Rich people have taking over and if I go out I rarely see anyone anymore because everyone left Loveland??? It's sad, I Hate leaving the only home I know but it's not my home/home anymore! Moving on, it will ALWAYS be my hometown but it's not the Loveland I have loved for 34 35 yrs. It's a completely different look and everything! Maybe change the name?? I wouldn't be surprised if that happened anyway! I know this is for the park but I had to say something because it's a part of Loveland and after Today I just couldn't hold it in...

Conveinant bathrooms, Amphitheater map & bulletin board, water pump for humans & dogs, friendly people, permanent manual bike pump with many different tools & attachments for quick fixes for many different types of bikes, tons of picnic tables, lots of close by entertainment, food, drinks, snacks, treats, shops, coffee....etc. I only wish I would have found this part of Loveland sooner but I have definitely found my home away from home......Loveland has got me in my feels.
