On several occasions I've observed the employees at this location working very hard to please the middle and upper management at this store, going above and beyond in multiple ways, just to have it backfire on them! 😞 I've seen management yelling and cursing at staff on their group chat and in person over the most petty things. Demanding closing staff, for example, to complete all closing duties and have things perfect for morning staff, but expecting staff to have it all done within 30 minutes of closing time. So they either get yelled at for staying and working 2 hours after closing to meet management expectations, or yelled at for not having it all done to perfection because they clocked out when they were told to- it's absolutely ridiculous and management is no less than contradictory, condescending, and verbally abusive to the point they're losing good people because they finally got fed up with it all! FACT: Management needs re- training on many topics and in multiple areas. The negative and oppressive work environment created by management there must stop. That includes using fear tactics in an attempt to force and threaten staff into compliance, rather than using positive reinforcement and a supportive work place which instead motivates and promotes a cohesive team environment. More and more people in the community are finding out about the abusive work environment there and complaints are going to escalate until something is done about it. Other than all that, the staff still working there are amazing (mostly the closing staff) as they put up with so much for so little; they all deserve raises. The food is pretty good for what they have to work with and the atmosphere is usually kept very clean, considering. There's a small outdoor space with a shade tree if you so choose to eat outside, there's a drive-thru, and a pretty big parking lot. The only other complaint is the location: It is so awkward! Read moreI came to look if there was response to my review last night and cannot find it so I am reposting. GM on down should be fired, after waiting for a response from the Drive Thru box for a good 2-3 minutes, we parked and went inside. To be told and I quote, 'we are closing the lobby because we can't take any orders?' I was genuinely confused because I just watched someone walk out with food and it was 5:30pm I asked why and the response was ridiculous, 'We don't have a manager here to the count the drawer so we can't take any orders.' Then I got 'we can only door dash', which is absolutely absurd. Then pissed off I asked why they just let us sit in the Drive Thru and never even said anything. The response I received is 'I was helping a customer inside' Seriously?! So basically was told I had to use an app that I don't use and spend more money to get what I wanted and apparently using Taco John's app that I do have wasn't an option??! Not that I would have trusted I would have gotten my food correct if I had as apparently no one there is capable of counting a drawer. At the window confronted after I didnt receive my drink for my meal when asked. Oh I didn't get that payed for that. Stopped look at my order didn't receive what asked for still went back to the drive thru had to wait 5 minutes u til the person was taking my order. Pulled to the window said I didn't ask for a super burrito I asked for a bean burrito the price difference is $2 the lady assuming was the shift manager. Asked snarling do u want a refund or the beef and potato burrito not even what I asked for just. Also noticed the back door is propt open, with is a health violation due to the fact of pest control issue and is not properly sanitary. Just asked for my burrito. Then left. Problem was not addressed correctly and the customer was disrespected. My order was approximately around 740 pm ordered #1 #6 #12 with side items of a soft tacos, chirrio, and spicy steak $3, and a steak quesadea. First order $38.12 second order was told $11 looking on my bank app it was $5.63. Since I didn't get my receipts at all or the first one back can't show you.
