We have been customers for many years. We tell all our friends about Rancho. There was a mix-up with a To Go order a couple years ago and my BF and Ana got into it. Since that time when I come in alone, I am always met with her bad attitude and dirty looks. We decided to stop by on Saturday for lunch and Ana was working the cash register. Her attitude was so bad from the time we walked in and to rushing me to sign the credit card machine. We spent $42 for lunch on Saturday. When I read these Google reviews I wonder if the bad attitude that people are receiving is from Ana. We are good customers. It is sad that we don't want to come in because of her. She literally ruined our lunch. Thank goodness for the other girl working (who is always so sweet & kind). Not sure what to do anymore. This mix-up happened a couple years ago so I find it rather ridiculous that she is holding such a grudge. It is truly unfortunate that you have the BEST Mexican food in town with such a terrible person working there. Sorry to leave a bad review but Saturday was too much for me. I don't appreciate being treated like that when I am a...
Read moreI hadn't been here for a long time and I was hungry for REAL Mexican food....not crumbled hamburger in a burrito and ketchup for hot sauce. They don't even offer hamburger in any of their food. I had the spiced pork burrito smothered with green chili and a hard shell taco with pulled pork and the shell was a deep fried tortilla not a store bought dark corn shell you get everywhere. My wife got a very good breakfast burrito with pork and egg/potato. The beans had a smoky flavor and the rice was good and fluffy. Any time you have a choice of tongue or tripe, you know you are in a real Mexican restaurant. The menu is very large so lots of choices. The only negative was the Marg. just a mix and the tequila. They need to come up with a good high end house marg. and that will put the icing on the cake. Next time I will have a Mexican beer instead. The service was very good and the price was very good compared to other Mexican restaurants we have eaten at. Over all, it was very good and will go on our regular rotation.UPDATE. Same as above 4 years later. STILL need a decent margarita. I took one sip and...
Read moreThe carnitas are greasy and flavorless, the asada is passable (barely), and the al pastor was decent. It gets one star because the cashier/food runner is REALLY awful, rude and seemingly racist. She walked around the entire restaurant several times asking every Latino how they're doing, if she can get them anything else etc (all in Spanish, of course). While the only other white person and I were completely ignored the entire time. I don't know the girl's name but she looks to be in her early thirties and wears enough makeup to cover an elephant. I'd like to think she's not just being blatantly racist but she was very short/rude with me when I ordered and I even tipped her (which is rare for a place like this) and she blatantly ignored me and the other white dude. I even stayed extra long to see if she'd ever check on us and she refused to every time she walked by.
If you're not Latino, I don't recommend eating here, unless you want to be made to feel very...
