First off, parking's limited, I think it's only what you see in front of the shop. Secondly, the turnaround of orders felt really slow (only a couple when I arrived around 930pm). Then saw a few people with take out orders. I'm glad I brought comics with me (asked the waiter if I could go get it while I waited for churros - read later). The vibe I got was if I were in Colombia, this is the cafe style with no windows with their music playing I expect to see and dine in.
Now, if you had their food when they were a food truck, same food fare except now they serve drinks! I enjoyed the Caipirinha more, the surplus of lime makes it a spiked Sprite. The Mamasita lemon flavor was pretty good, too. I appreciate that they have a TV with a rotation of food/drink options for people who have know clue what items are. The Butifarra had a nice little heat to it, wish they had a fork or knife instead of a toothpick to let some of the hot air out. Had the Monster Burger during their truck days, love that it has cheese, eggs, bacon and the bacon patty. For dessert, I wanted churros, but the waitress forgot, so I got through half my comic before I asked about it. Waiter came back and asked how many orders of it did I ask for, 1 or 3, told them I only ordered 1. Turns out, churros came out as single or 3 at once, so I ended up with only 1 churro. Even with the limited parking, slow service and communication,...

The images had me torn, as the hotdogs were loaded in various colored sauces, and frankly (no pun intended), I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought the sauce would make the buns soggy by the time it arrived, and it seemed like overkill for a hotdog. Turns out, the sauces aren't "liquidy" as they might seem in the photos, and these things were absolutely delicious.
I also ordered a cheese stick just to try it out (I think they are deep fried feta?); This also wound up being a delicious comfort food.
All in all, this food truck deserves the rave reviews it's getting. Food trucks in the Lowell area, by and large, have already earned an A+ from me. This one is unique in it's cuisine type, and taste-wise, it's right on par with the...
Read moreVery welcoming. The people that work there were very pleasant, explained what the dishes were when I asked.. I passed by here many times before going home. Last Friday I decided to venture in, let me tell you no regrets. I enjoyed both dishes I ordered and the lemon water. Yes lemon water.. I will definitely go there again. It's Colombian bar food, hamburgers, hot dogs fries and other Colombian appetizers.. Don't expect your traditional Colombian food. If you know what I mean , But trust me a must...
