I love how the meats are made fresh. Great place for lunch. Usually plenty of parking altho lunchtime does get busy. Orders are made quick. My first time here they ran out of cilantro which was disappointing and i'm dropping half a star because I feel cilantro really makes an authentic taco. I dont see a good reason for running out of a plentiful cheap herb. In my opinion it was right before lunch ended and the guy just didn't want to chop some more. I dont think that is the best customer service.. so neither reason is a good one. I feel the employees could be a little friendlier which is another half star gone. I know you're hot and busy, but I am busy too and probably rushed in thru traffic from a bad day at work and am still smiling and friendly with you. The seating area is simple with lots of windows and light coming in. Good cheap meal for the college student or even a family grabbing some dinner. Overall the food is good, but I would not say it is amazing or to die for. The guac is creamy and doesnt look fresh. I like mine chunkier and cold but we cant have it all. There is a large selection of toppings, Pico, lettuce, guac, onion, tomatos, lemon, choice of hot sauce, sour cream and more. Im not big on burritos.. my friend gave me a few bites of his chicken burrito. I felt the flavors were lacking. Im not a burrito person so I would normally say dont go by my opinion.. but he wasnt raving about it either. I'm experienced in cooking, food and culture and I could make a burrito 10x better at home. They have other meals..but I am a taco girl so I doubt I would try them. As for the sides.. I tried the rice and beans.. again, not a good amount flavor. I will take into consideration that its flu season.. maybe my taste buds arent up to par...but I dont feel sick All of these small things are another drop of a star. I wouldnt say dont go. The food cheap and for me, the tacos hit the spot. The meat is good which helps with the lacking of things in other departments. But what do you want from a chain reataurant? People are ok with the food, and they want to expand.. so their money is going to go more into making more money than making an out of this world restaurant.. isnt that what most people...
Read moreWhen I walked in, nobody even said hi or anything. The menu said the birria tacos with consume were $4.99, so I got three. I figured I'd get three cups of that consume stuff, right? But the tacos and the consume tasted like absolutely nothing. Seriously, they needed some sazon or adobo. You could tell they weren't made with any love. I even squeezed the lime on it, and it still didn't help. I was so bummed out. For five bucks a taco, I was hoping for a bigger portion. I wish they looked like the ones in the pictures online. The size was more like a kid's meal. I love food, and I hate to say it, but this was a total fail. The guy working there looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there. It was just a super bad...
Read moreEvery time I go there the people there are unfriendly and look visibly unhappy that I am a customer. The portions are nothing special. But the last time I was there 8/31/2022. I order two Birria O Carnitas. The Birria was dry! Birria is supposed to be like a beef pot roast, cooked in a flavorful seasoned broth wrapped in soft corn taco shells served with some of the broth on the side for dipping. When I got back to work I saw that my order came with no broth on dried out soft taco shells. Sadly to say, I am not going back there again. This place is nothing like their other restaurant in Gloucester. Gloucester has a bigger menu better portions and quality. Plus a...
