Milan Pizza is a fairly small quaint restaurant located on the corner of Douglas and Rogers Street (Rte. 38) Lowell MA. Which has been done over from its original layout, these days here the door is on the right side facing the establishment as opposed to the left from the original design of the restaurant.
However aside from that it's not what's really important what is important is their food their food is exceptional they have some of the best tasting Italian food I've ever tried and all this for a small hole in the wall restaurant it's incredible.
The other day I had stuffed shells with ricotta cheese mozzarella and sauce. Thier sauce is so good some of the best sauce I've ever had with just the right pinch of sugar to sweeten it out, and no acidity, with chunky tomatoes oh it is so delicious! Their food has made a customer out of me. Another thing in my opinion the atmosphere has significantly improved since changing the entrance from the left to the right side. They have more available seating in my thinking and they added a nice television screen showing pictures from around the world like Italy and Greece with beautiful ocean scenes people enjoying the day diving, boating and sailing, watching this format of the scenes while eating the food made me feel like I was there in those different places around the world.
And lastly the service I was 25 minutes away in rush hour traffic I placed my order with Nick over-the-phone and when I walked in the door it was on a tray piping-hot ready to sit down and eat. Best service I ever had. And the price was less than other places for the same amount of food. And unbeknownst to me it was to be served with complimentary garlic bread and side salad with their house dressing right on top. These two added items for free with four stuffed shells all for $11.72 is unheard of in today's inflation. Yeah definitely take away the porcelain plate with real silverware that's never been properly cleaned in most Restaurants with a garnish on the side, I'll take Milan pizzas tin tray with the plastic cover...

Read moreI’m not trying to be mean but this is just my opinion...I would give this place no stars if I could....came across this place trying to find a good place to enjoy takeout from. My family & I have takeout twice a month & try to try new places each time. I ordered a meat lovers pizza, cheese pizza, chicken fingers, spicy fries & a fisherman‘s platter $89.98..... There meat lovers pizza is a poor excuse for a meat lovers hardly any meat very disappointing for the price, both Pizza dough didn’t taste done, the chicken fingers are gross no flavor at all except for the old oil taste, The fisherman‘s platter was extremely expensive & had no flavor VERY soggy & tons of batter to make it look on Big also the guy told me he’d give me extra stuff because they were out of clams but there was only 5 pieces of the other things & TONS of fries, the spicy fries were the ONLY good thing out of this order. disappointment is a understatement. Unfortunately I will never order...
