Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Lower Merion Township

I literally ordered cupcakes from this place a hour and a half ago. I’m upset I didn’t open my box and view my order when I first left out of this place. When I got home to open the box my cupcakes were thrown and mashed on top of each other. It’s almost like someone just threw them in there on purpose and didn’t place them correctly. The happy birthday flag I ordered also was not in there. The woman who handled my order was light skin with black hair and she had it in a ponytail. She’s about 5’3. I got these cupcakes for my deceased grandmother’s birthday. I always get cake or cupcakes for her birthday because it’s her favorite and it makes me feel better knowing I got or did something that’s her favorite for her birthday. I don’t understand why this lady would do something so ignorant and unprofessional. I don’t know if she dropped the box and decided she didn’t care to check it or if she purposely did this but it’s very unprofessional. I don’t know if she was upset because it was a hour before closing time and she was ready to go because she seemed inpatient and kept checking the closing sign. But this is unacceptable. Had a lackluster experience today- called a few days ago asking about a gender reveal cake (Mom & Dad wanted to be surprised). The woman over the phone was really nice, and explained that they hide a rattle (blue for boy, pink for girl) in the center beneath a big bow. Was told that they could do something same day. Cool. Told her that we would stay local and would place the order that day and pick the cake up when it was ready. Got there early today (some time between 9AM-10 AM) and was asked to pick out a cake from the case. The girl at the front register said that they didn't hide or even have the rattle, which was surprising to me because I spoke with someone over the phone about it, and the website even says so! I was promptly handed the cake with the bow separately, and left disappointed. Husband & I ended up doing a little DIY to the cake for the gender reveal, and I think we'll go elsewhere next time we celebrate a special event. I definitely feel like I wasted $41 for a cake that I had to buy extra supplies for and wasn't even assembled...

Today was a very disappointing experience with Nothing Bundt Cakes. This is my go to place for cake, but unfortunately after today not anymore. There was a woman working today with a Dr. Seuss hat on whom just happened to be extremely rude, and unprofessional towards my wife (it’s Halloween so she should’ve been the grinch instead) . We had patronized this business since it has opened. As of today we will look to take our business elsewhere, and give bad reviews verbally and written to anyone that ask about Nothing Bundt Cakes on 333 Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore PA. to anyone that goes to this business I urge you to stop until the rude woman that had the Dr. Seuss hat on today which is (October 29th 2021) is fired for her disrespectful ignorant condescending demeanor.
