DELISH espresso oh my goodness! If I was in walking distance, it would be dangerous for me to have such easy espresso access. I got the freddo espresso, and it was super smooth yet still had that sharp, almost chocolatey tang. It paired well with my Santorini pastry, a flaky pie filled with olives, peppers, and feta. So salty and creamy! I wish it had a bit more crunch, but overall a delish breakfast.
My fiancé got a chai latte which was also very good (super frothy milk, not too sweet chai) as well as the vanilla bougatsa. WOW this was so crisp, sweet, and buttery! The custard had a lot of vanilla flavor and the powdered sugar and cinnamon on top was the perfect compliment to the flakey dough. It came out piping hot too! If I wasn’t such a savory breakfast girlie, I would def recommend getting this pastry with your coffee.
The vibes in here are awesome too. I stayed in here to work on my laptop post-pastry, and while I didn’t see a wifi password, I was able to use my phone as a hotspot and chill on a comfy mini couch to do my work. Read moreStopped into The Brew Room in Ardmore during their soft opening. Even with a steady line and a packed crowd, the staff were friendly, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing. I had a drip coffee and a flat white — both excellent. The drip was smooth and balanced, and the flat white had that perfect mix of espresso bite and creamy texture.
They’ve got some great Greek pastries too — I tried both the cheese and vanilla bougatsa, each was outstanding. The space has a clean, modern feel without being pretentious, and the owner’s own artwork gives it a sharp, contemporary touch.
