This place used to be Colonial Diner and fine dining. I haven't been here in many years and only recently found out that it has changed hands, especially for a better enjoyment and experience of what a true pub really is! It is now under new ownership and called Copper Pub and Grille. I've only been there twice so far. However it is now on my go to place for extremely high quality fine dining experience. And the best part is its exactly what you expect when it comes to what you truly get for your money. The chosen offerings are plentiful and done deliciously well to accommodate your taste expectations and beyond. They provide an awesome cocktail selection and of course pretty much of anything else, from domestic, imports and local breweries specials and being a pub they have three different areas for your pleasures. An outside bar and seating along with heaters for those cool nights and have multiple TVs with different games on. The main part of the pub has at least 9 different TVs, each with different games as well with a large u-shaped bar area and booths all along the outside area walls. Friday nights they provide live acoustic and electric guitar music entertainment for your enjoyment. Nearly in the middle of the outside area and the inside bar area there is another more quiet family style dining area to enjoy. I would suggest that you call ahead and make reservations from a small group to larger groups. I will sum it up with a place to go and not too pass it up. Give them a try on your next outing whether on a date or a family outing. You definitely can't go wrong here as the staff will also go out of their way to accommodate your needs with options on the menu for anyone...
Read moreWe fell in love with this establishment. You would almost miss it, it's hiding so well along the tree line. Parking was easy, as they had a whole parking lot to themselves. This place was absolutely beautiful, both inside and outside on the deck (where we sat). They had lights on as it got darker that set such a pretty feel. The food took a bit longer than expected to come out, but it was well worth the wait. I ordered the french onion burger, and my boyfriend ordered the spicy copper pub burger. To be honest, neither of us tasted anything on the burgers that they were supposed to come with (almost like they forgot the sauces and toppings each individual burger was supposed to be adorned with). However, we did not care one bit. The burgers were so juicy and cooked to perfection that it didn't matter what was on it. We got our burgers cooked medium with a little pink in the center and we couldn't be happier. The burgers themselves were so full of flavor, and the tomato, lettuce, and onion that came on it were fresh. The burger patties themselves were so large I almost couldn't fit it in my mouth! The burgers also came with fries, which impressed us just as much as the burgers. They came out piping hot, perfectly salted, and with a big enough portion. Most places charge more for fries and give just a small handful, so it was greatly appreciated by us to have the pleasure of enjoying these fries, without them skimping in the serving size. I highly highly recommend coming here and enjoying one of their delectable burgers...
Read moreThis place started out great but now I don't know what happen. Today my wife add I come for dinner, it's not that busy but it took my wife almost out entire dinner to get the beer she ordered when we sat down. She had to get her own ketchup because it was never brought to us when asked. I ordered wings with a rub and of 12 wings ONLY 2 showed evidence of having any kid of seasoning on them. The waitress never came to ask us if we are good was or if we needed anything else.
Menu could use refreshing too as it's getting kind of stale.
Thursday September 24th.
Update 12/4/20: Dropping to 1 star for multiple reasons. Orders were not complete this time. Whatever pickle slices come with the burgers were awful as if they were spoiled. COVID orders aren’t even remotely followed at this point. Sat on the bar side and both bartenders had their mask on their chins the entire time. 6ft, more like 6 inches every table and booth filled as it was karaoke night apparently which leads me to my next thing. It’s a small bar not an amphitheater, there was no reason for it to be so loud in their that I watched people leave because you couldn’t have a conversation with the person in front of you. Onion rings also no longer taste like they did in the early days they felt more Costco then house made. On the bright side the potato wedges are back so there is that.
Sorry to say this is one of those come out of the gate running only to get half way up the hill and fall on your face situation. At this point I’d say the Cooper...
