What SANDWHICH shop runs put of BREAD? Don't the two go hand and hand? I placed an order via the app for pickup as I was passing by there to get to my destination. I show up, a few tables. Nothing inordinate. I saw my order was not there on the shelf 20 minutes after I made the order. Don't give me wrong, if it's busy customers in store are priority. I however saw tons of staff and a not a lot of customers.
It's about 7:45pm at this point, and I inquiried about the status. They said "you're ticket was pushed back to 8:16pm." I was confused. I knew I didn't schedule and hit the ASAP selection when I ordered. I held my app out and asked her to tell me where it was disclosed of such delay. She says "we aren't trained on the app, so I don't know?" What company doesn't train their employees on their own licensed products? It's not like I was using Uber Eats or a 3rd party.
So after this back and forth, I ultimately still wondered where my sandwich was. That's when all the sudden she says we don't have bread and we're waiting for it to be baked. I said heck no, in the 45 minutes I would have waited if I didn't request a refund I could have ate at Texas Roadhouse with a 12 minute ticket time for entree, 15 minute wait at the door, and 13 minute consumption time. Absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention Jersey Mike's had an hour left til close, quit wasting people's time accepting orders you can't deliver and just close the joint...
Read moreOut of several restaurants, Jersey Mike's has always been the most clean, the employees there always wear proper gloves, hair nets, even after covid came the employees wore face masks up until just recently. I truly admired how much they care about handling food. I've worked in the food industry as and I've seen other restaurant employee's not follow any Osha rules. Also, the reason why I truly like this current location is that. I had a door dash delivery from this location. Unfortunately, My produce was not fresh; However, It was not the employee's fault. Regardless, when I called Jersey Mike's the following day, they took care of the situation and the way the manager handled everything was by far the best. The following day had a small mess up as well by giving me the wrong subs after fixing another mistake. The manager took matters in his hands and made sure that my daughter and I got our correct subs. Everything was fresh that time. Followed by 1 free reg sub coupon. The manager and their employees were truly amazing. Regardless of the mistakes they made, they still handled them by far the best from most restaurants. Thank you Jersey Mikes for always...
Read moreMuch like all the other Jersey Mike's in PA, it's a miss. The only location is Allentown pa that knows how to make a proper sandwich with both extra meat and GF options. My fiancee loves Jersey Mike's, personally I feel corporate does not give any consistency to the stores. If you read my reviews on other locations, you'll see the problems. 22.00 for extra meat GF sub should feel like 22.00. not GF bread with 5# of lettuce and tomato. Hopefully this location will look at feedback and learn and adjust accordingly to keep a good name and be successful. The first impression is the most important. Otherwise no one will return. A simple standard of x-amount of meat should be added for extra meat. Especially since a hoagie may have 3 meats and 3x the extra meat charge. If your hoagie comes with two layers of turkey, then extra meat should be minimum of 3 layers. Simple math..... Also the app is not easy for the person making the order, so any special notes need to be asked upon pickup as they are usually missed or incorrect. Or. No cheese, pickles,...
