I go to this restaurant to have a great dinning Experience. I just had my lunch and I was greeted warmly by a nice barkeep Vinny. He is very knowledgeable and professional. His service was extraordinary. He is a total asset and ambassador to this fine restaurant.I will personally rate it as a very friendly place for transgender people to go to. The staff is amazing and very affirming to our community. It is a good place to go for food. Fourth visit Revised review, For the record I got totally respected at longhorn steakhouse . I was called ma'am and miss by the the staff. The reason why I got the gift card was because I was of Misgendered by a manager. I called the managers district manager and explained the situation to educate not assassinate. I did not want the employee to lose their job because that would be really bad especially since she has kids. So I decided to speak calmly and stand up for my rights. In the end the district manager authorized $100 gift card for me as an apology. I accepted the apology and I took a good friend out to dinner a couple weeks ago. Then I just enjoyed a dinner tonight by myself at a restaurant being a transgender woman in a mostly conservative area. You can go out to a restaurant by yourself if you want it's a free world especially for women now. Enjoy your freedom and eat out as much as you want don't be judgemental about how many calories you eat in the moment. I'm grateful that I had steak dinner with a baked sweet potato with brown sugar cinnamon and nutmeg. I also had mashed potatoes with gravy with sour cream. Plus yummy fried pickles as an appetizer. I will Mark LongHorn steakhouse transgender friendly now.

I’m really sad and disappointed with my food that I picked up. My husband went to enjoy a ball game with his dad and brother so I stayed behind to work on the house. I decided to treat myself to a nice steak dinner from here since I had a credit balance on a gift card. I got the 6 oz sirloin along with 2 sides: baked sweet potato and steamed broccoli. I had a pleasant encounter with the employee who brought it out to my car. He was very kind and friendly. I was so excited about eating my hot dinner, especially since I never order steak for myself. Well, to my surprise, I was very underwhelmed and sad to notice a couple of things. First, the broccoli wasn’t cooked enough. They were still crunchy and worse, they put in some bad pieces that should’ve been thrown out. A couple of pieces looked like it had mold on them. Second, the steak was really small (I guess that’s what you get for a 6 oz), but it was super tough and dry. I had a hard time cutting it (even with my sharp steak knife) and then more of a struggle to chew it. I could barely chew it down to swallow it, that I had to spit it out. This went on during my whole meal. The only thing I actually enjoyed was the sweet potato. I was expecting to chew on a hot, juicy, and tender steak. Instead, it was lukewarm, dry, and tough. I even ordered it medium rare, but either it was cooked a little too long, or the steak had been sitting in storage for a little longer than it should have. I somehow finished it (minus the pieces I spit out), but now my jaw hurts. Nevertheless, I won’t be getting the sirloin again.

I've eaten at Longhorn between 7 and 10 times in my life, but first time at this location. This was by far the best experience. All 3 of us ordered the NY Strip. Cooked perfectly for all of us. The fries have tremendous seasoning and were cooked just right. The bread served prior to the meal was hot and delicious. The salads that come with the meal were larger than expected, which was great. Consuela was our server (and was wonderful) and had the added responsibility of tending the bar. She was helped by the fact three other servers stopped at our table to drop off food or get refills, so we respected the "all hands on deck mentality." Two of us ate mashed potatoes. Although they were tasty, we both thought they were probably instant. They tasted somewhat like KFC's but had much better flavor. So although the potatoes did not attain the high standards of everything else, this experience definitely deserves a 5-star. Note: the picture is of a medium steak. It was cooked just right, with a pink center, but admittedly it looks red in this photo.

Steak was ok ... not bad , not great ..but I think this place needs a different manager. I met the guy and he was NOT PLEASANT At All ! actually quite opposite of what restaurant manager should be ... We decided to try this place on the Friday night . Honestly, we are not big fans of chain restaurant but some we love such as Bone fish Grill or Carrabbas for example . So we decided to give this place a try . Upon entering , We were told we need to wait for 30 minutes but could be served in the bar if we get a table . Surprisingly, we found a table right away as people just finished and left the table . We stood next to it for awhile hoping to speak for someone if he could take it .. nobody showed up . The exact bar table next to it was served with a waitress so I asked her if we could take this one . She said that she is busy but if someone cleans it , “ fair game “ - we can take it . So we waited ... and waited and waited . People from the neighboring table left and nobody came to clean their table either ... so I decided to ask if anyone is interested in cleaning them .. and seat us .. and others .. the waitress told me that she wasn’t sure what is going on and why tables were not being cleaned and sent me to hostess . While I was trying to ask hostess , the person behind her ( I had no idea who at first ) in a very annoyed voice and dismissive attitude replied: theses tables are out of order .. they are not going to be served “ . I tried to reply that customers just were sitting there and waitress is also unaware what was going in . In addition , we were told by the hostess that we would be served in the bar area . The guy just dismissed me and said “they are out of order “ .. the hostess who just 20 min ago sent us this direction immediately echoed that these tables ( and us ) are not their priority! Well .. sure we weren’t ! We never been seated on these tables and when we were finally given a table , it appears that there were a lot of empty tables ! I asked our waitress to speak to a manger at the end of our visit .. I paid my bill first . The “enjoyed guy “ came over ! Put a made up comical smile on his face , said some very standard “ my apology “ without even a bit of sincerity and hurried out . He said he talked to hostess but they forgot and that he would talk to them again ... he needs to talk to himself , I mentioned . He should have been handling this differently at the first place . Be nice , attentive , apologetic for a miscommunication., maybe even introducing himself first , not just overtaking either to hostess or to us ... could be a different scenario . The result is - we are not going back , we are writing this review , I will definitely would never recommend this place to anyone ! And believe me - we love going out and so our friends ! It’s too bad that one or two not very professional people make the bad reputation...

Went here with my parents on Mother's day. I was hoping for a the same, fast service from other Longhorn location's, but this one was a mess. As we walked through the door, the first thing I noticed was the host didn't even recognize our existence for a few minutes despite standing right in front of him. No eye contact, no greeting, and no service. Sure it was Mother's day, but at 2 PM on that Sunday, this location wasn't even packed. Plenty of open tables.

Next, once we were seated, our waiter came out to introduce himself. He seemed OK, slick, gelled haircut and an approachable personality, but things started looking odd as time went on. As soon as he seated us, he disappeared for at least 25 minutes. He finally got back and took our order. Bread came shortly later. 2:50 rolls by and he stops and asks: "Oh, no one served you salad yet?" Took a few more minutes for that to arrive. He claimed another waitress stole our salad.

At 3:20 PM, we were yet to be served. We pulled the waiter over and asked him how long the order would be. We didn't order anything special, just some steaks and a special on their menu. He stopped by a few minutes later and said our order was 3rd in line. 3rd in line? Several tables next to us came in later than us and were already finishing their meals. How could we still be third in line? That was the final straw. I'm not sure if the waiter forgot to place our order or if something messed up was going on in the kitchen, but the timeliness of service was not a priority. There were plenty of other tables open and service wasn't flooded, so we stood up and left. This kind of service is just unacceptable. We felt we didn't even exist and that's no kind of professional attitude for a restaurant of this reputation. Other Longhorn's are just fine, but this...

I have been to the Longhorn in Lancaster many times and everything is always great! However, this past Tuesday we went to the one in Harrisburg because we were meeting some people that lived up in that area. It was not busy so we were sat right away. I ordered a strawberry margarita and asked if they had the strawberry rock candy lollipop that the Lancaster location normally adds they didn't but I ordered it anyway. When it arrived it did not have sugar or salt nor did she ask me if I wanted either, and the drink was very strong and had little to no strawberry taste, I asked for some extra strawberry purée which the waitress brought a few minutes later and that helped with the taste. For my meal I then ordered the corn on the cob with the salt encrusted fillet temperature as medium. The corn came out completely luke warm and the steak was definitely medium rare and hardly even warm. When I address the issue to the waitress I explained to her that I don't feel comfortable with people taking my food back into the kitchen and bringing it back out and that I would just prefer to have the meal taken off of my bill, she said she had to get the manager for that. When the manager came out he proceeded to argue with me for 10 minutes that he cannot take the meal off of the bill if I was going to continue to eat it. After arguing with me for 10 minutes he took my corn and walked away, I'm assuming he realized how wrong he was for arguing with the customer and decided to bring a fresh corn and take the meal off of my bill. Which I appreciated but overall he was very rude and was in my face the whole time that we were having the conversation, he made me feel very uncomfortable and I honestly wanted to just get up and walk away at that point. Obviously we will not be coming back to...
