Red Lobster — Restaurant in Lower Paxton Township

Stopped in Saturday night October 7th about 8pm. The waitress we had was horrible! The absolute worst! The place was not full of customers and we waited forever to be waited on. Ordered drinks and after waiting another considerable amount of time, finally got them. However, the waitress didn’t bring my wife’s soda. We ask her 3 times about the soda and each time she had an excuse as to why she forgot to bring it! We also ask for cheddar biscuits and we’re told they didn’t have any made. While still waiting for a soda and biscuits to arrive,,, twice our waitress was at other tables singing the happy birthday song! The table aside of us was complaining she served them the wrong food and ask she bring them what they ordered. She never took away any dirty plates and I cleared the table myself putting ours on the dirty table nearby so we had room to move and sit comfortably. I told her we have military discount and ID was shown. The bill came and no military discount was to be seen. I paid the bill, left NO tip and we left. On my way out I stopped by the check in booth in the lobby and waited over 5 minutes for someone to show up. Once a woman showed, I explained to her how horrible our service was, showed her my bill with no discount given, gave her my receipt and told her whatever I am owed back, to give it to our waitress and tell her Merry Christmas, as I didn’t leave a tip! I left and won’t be back! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Giving a 1 star review is rewarding them for incompetence and us enduring a miserable dining experience! The worst EVER!!!...

Dear Owner, I DONT HAVE A FACEBOOK. HOWEVER I WOULD LIKE TO FOLLOW UP WITH YOUR TEAM VIA YOUR REPLY. HOW DO I DO THAT????? Worst Red Lobster experience. We have gone to Red Lobster at Colonial Park for many years. Today was terrible. We waited an hour to get our food. When we wanted coffee and hot tea with dessert waitress said they had no coffee or hot tea? Really?? No hot water for tea? So we didn't order dessert. We asked for check. She slides a small machine to us. My husband was like we're paying cash and have a gift card. She says this is the only way to pay now. Finally I got a manager, after we told the manager about the bill issue the manager says we can pay either way. Then the waitress scoops up our gift card and leaves our table coming back with our paper receipt. By then we were soooooooo done! We paid remainder with cash and left her 5 cents. Which she didn't deserve THAT. After we got home my husband called Red Lobster and asked if they had coffee and hot tea. The person who answered said yes. My husband told them about how our waitress said there was no hot tea or coffee. The person on the phone was appalled and could not believe we were told that. Just WOW. I don't know what her problem was but we will be taking our business elsewhere. BEWARE of Colonial Park...

We absolutely love this particular Red Lobster. Normally I don’t write reviews, nor have I patronized Red Lobster for quite some time. We recently moved to Harrisburg this past year and decided to try this restaurant/location a few weeks ago (after hearing the very sad news about many of these restaurants nation wide closing). Now, I do not understand why bc the food (and everything we ordered) was surprisingly perfect and absolutely delicious!! It was fresh and tasty, not too much or too little of anything, and honestly cooked perfectly. Even the salad was very good (I think it was the dressing that really made it, tasted almost homemade) and of course those delectable cheddar bay biscuits. My teenage son even ordered the Brussel sprouts and said they were amazing. So we decided to go back yesterday and again the food and service didn’t disappoint. Everything was perfect again. And I have to add our server’s name; her name was Suzanne (Sue), and she actually waited on us this time as well. She knows everything like the back of her hand and will do things before you even have to ask. She’s just a great server and very kind. We are going to make this restaurant (and Sue) a regular outing...
