Mario's Pizza Cafe — Restaurant in Lower Saucon Township

I stopped at the Speedway to fuel my vehicle and while the tank was filling, I noticed Mario's Cafe with the 'Open' sign. I was on my way to work but didn't get to eat before I left home so I thought about a slice of pizza for the road. The set up is small on the inside; however it was roomy enough for the 2 families who were eating whole pizzas at dine-in tables. I asked if I could just order one slice and the older gentleman said 'Sure!' with a huge smile!! I seen all the display pizzas were cooled off but I ordered the Everything Slice. I asked that he just take the chill off; take it out of oven quickly. In a short time, he handed me the pizza slice, I made payment, and vowed to return. (I liked the casual charm of that little cafe!!!) I got in my car and proceeded to work, taking my first bite when I cleared the stop light. Incredible; Exceptional!!! (Even though the pizza was cold on display, the onions, peppers and other toppings on the Everything Slice tasted as if it was just made fresh!!! It wasn't a soggy or taste-less 'warmed-up' item). I want to plan a day to bring my teenage son here. He's a pizza aficionado and will surely give Mario's 3-thumbs up,...

Edit- been going here for years and the did is good but lately if the woman takes your order, it's probably going to be messed up. Three times in a row. One, the delivery never came. I had to call after an hour went by and thankfully the husband answered and came through. Two, I went to pick up, and only the pizza was ready, they didn't make any of the extras. Three, they said they won't deliver just one pizza, even though they've done it many times in the past. All three times, I spoke to the woman on the phone. Food is still really good but this other stuff annoys the heck out of me. Pretty good pizza, but they never have a menu for me to bring home. Update- they finally got menus to take home! I used to brag about this place. But after a large order that we placed was a complete flop (over $100). The cheesesteaks were dry, barely any meat but increased prices for what, just bread? We ordered a large pizza, it came with 8 slices! A large at any other pizza place you get 10 slices. When we called, they were pretty rude, claimed they made a large pie and we paid extra for a meatball, yes just one and it wasn't with our order. Guy on phone said well I have to look at the order to see if meatball was ordered! They had delivery guy bring back a meatball and honestly, they should've just given a refund.
