I’ve been coming here for years because the shakes and ice cream are consistently excellent, and most of the staff are genuinely kind and welcoming. But today’s experience with the manager was so appalling, I wish my fiancé had been here because he would not have taken the same approach I took.
I ordered three shakes—two strawberry and one chocolate—but was handed only two. When I politely clarified my order, the manager responded with hostility and condescension, as if I were the problem. What were her exact words when I asked for her name? She saiid its Brie and added “If you’re going to write a bad review, make sure you state it’s the manager.” That alone speaks volumes about her attitude and lack of professionalism.
Shockingly, someone rude and dismissive represents this business in a leadership role. She treated me like an inconvenience rather than a loyal customer, and her approach was not just unhelpful—it was downright antagonistic. Every business should know that respectful customer service is non-negotiable, especially from management.
Several sweet and courteous employees here clearly care about the customers and the experience. Frankly, any of them would be a better fit for the manager role than the person currently holding it. If the business values its reputation and customer loyalty, it should seriously consider changing.

Read moreWent for some ice cream on a hot Sunday night to Brewster's. We were in line for about 10 mins only one window open, when they started to call for next in line from a second window. Then this girl ran up to the first window. I can see her talking to the person inside and she pointed her to stand over by the other window. The girl calls her mom who was in line down with her. Then the worker from the 1st window goes to the 2nd window and calls for next in line. The girl she told to go over to the second window with her mom just walked up and ordered. Several were not happy about these two just cutting the line. Few even said loudly that they were not next in line. Then to add to the insult they stand there and start chatting for several mins I was finally called up to the window and placed my order, 1- vanilla, 1- cookies and cream and 1- cookie dough milk shake, whip cream on the 1st two. Got our order and I told the worker Kayla what she did to these people in line by letting her friend cut in front of everyone was wrong and walked away. Funny order wasn't right she put whip on the cookie dough and none on the cookies and cream. The vanilla shake was ok the cookies and cream one was more milk and less shake and very thin more like flavored milk. This was my 1st time here and personally I don't need to go back. I specifically asked to not work on the weekends as I was unavailable on the weekends and the manager scheduled me twice on a sunday without my knowledge. I then got fired for not coming in a sunday because I was under the impression that I did not have to come in on the weekends, because I asked not to?
