I went to this salon bc this is my sister in laws salon. What a nightmare! Save your hair. Iāve been putting off this review bc I thought she would make it right but she most certainly didnāt. I went for highlight and extensions! Let me tell you I have no hair! She fried my hair! All of my hair is singed off! I have nothing left. This was a week before my wedding. Mind you my hair is already thin and was to the middle of my back. I was and still am absolutely beside myself. I messaged her photos and she told me that my hair was in bad shape before that she wasnāt even going to highlight it m, but did it bc it was my wedding! Really you tell me after the fact!? if my hair was in such bad shape as a professional, you shouldāve never bleached it because you know what the outcome would be Not only did she fry my hair but I paid over $400 for extensions that looked pink. My hair was brown with highlights and she got strawberry blonde extensions! I looked ridiculous. I called her because I was very upset. She told me there was nothing she could do! But I insisted, and finally she said I could go in for a toner which did nothing! Unfortunately, I had already given her a deposit, which I could not afford to lose for hair and make up. When I tell you, my make up was horrible, I left the salon and went home and redid both hair and makeup myself. I was hysterical the day of my wedding! It was when the extensions were removed when I really noticed what the damage she had done. But prior to this, I had sent her a photo of my singed hair and her response to me was OMG!!? Really? This is your work! So here I am today with no hair, wearing headbands and hats because I am so embarrassed. As women are hair is very important and makes a huge difference. I was self-conscious before, but this just broke me. Itās not fair that people can just take your money and do this to you without any care bc she got paid very well! Please save yourself, because when I look at in the mirror every day i cry bc of her work! All of her make up photos are filters. That is the only reason her make up looks āgoodā for someone to have no heart, and to not fix what they had broken which is every piece of my hair is just wrong! She doesnāt even deserve the one star! I had to get the bleach out of my hair and diet dark. The last photo is what my hair look like before going...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't normally go to this salon, but my stylist was completely booked this past Saturday 2/22 and since they are down the street, I decided to give them a try. I was happy they were able to get me in at all, since I called Saturday morning and definitely appreciated that, but my experience really wasn't so great. I don't particularly like giving a place a not so great review, but I really was just not happy. When I got there, I only had to wait a minute before I was called back. My name wasn't used, they didn't seem very friendly either. I almost felt like I was a burden to them, and the girl that did my hair never even mentioned her name. She didn't talk to me at all, and in fact, the whole place was pretty silent, which I thought was strange for a hair salon! I asked for a blow out, as I wanted to wear my hair straight for an event I was going to that night. My hair is prone to static electricity and I get fly aways, so the first thing I noticed was that she didn't put any product in my hair. I mentioned it to her, and she said she did, but I didn't see her do it, didn't feel her apply it, and the end result WAS fly aways, so if she did at all, she used very little. Once it was "done" I asked her to fix a few spots, but even after she did, it just didn't look right. I have had my hair blown out to look straight many times and it always looks great, so not sure what she did or didn't do, but I was not happy. I ended up paying the $25 plus a $5 tip and went home. I ended up washing it all out and doing it myself. The big lesson here for this salon: Greet your customers by name! Especially those that come in for the first time. This is a way to build your book. Talk to your new customers and for God's sake, tell them your name! Don't be skimpy when it comes to product. Had she done what I asked and actually applied enough, I think the outcome would have been a little better. If a customer explains their needs - LISTEN! I feel like I wasted $30 that day. Sorry my review wasn't better, but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in with a grown out balayage due to being in quarantine for 3 months. I was looking forward to getting my hair done and the salons I usually go to didnāt have any availability until August so I figured Iād try out this salon as they had availability and seemed nice. Little did I know the salon had very poor lighting and products. The lighting made it very hard to see the finished product. Once I got home I notice my hair was orange! I initially showed a picture of a bleach icy blonde balayage to the hairdresser. I called a few days later to come back to get it fixed. When I went in for the second time I was a greeted with great disrespect from the owner, who has bright red hair, that the hair I received was not what I asked for. She was very unprofessional and made me extremely comfortable. I told her what I wanted fixed and when I did she said she is just going to put another toner on it to get the orange out. They did so. A few days later when I washed my hair I noticed nothing had changed. I am now dealing with my credit card company to dispute the $180 charge for this mediocre service. Lastly, when I first called I asked how much a balayage would be for my type of hair and was told $135. Not until I went to the cashier was I told it was $180 which included the toner and other miscellaneous...
