Pizza places come and go at this location. And while the food isn't bad, I suspect this pizza place will soon be gone also, due mostly to the service. It also doesn't help that it looks like there's some kind of child care program going on at the same time here. I could live with that since the food is pretty good but the service is what is going to keep me from coming back. I live in the neighborhood so I can literally walk to this place and I eat out most days so I'm always looking for good food in this area. But here's what will keep me from ever going to this place. I walk in to place a takeout order and pay with cash but they tell me that to complete the order that they need my name. My telephone number my email address, I mean come on, for what? They tell me they can't complete the order without this crucial information. Well you're not getting that information from me. It is completely unnecessary. So I give them fake names, fake phone numbers, fake email addresses. But they continue to insist that they absolutely must have this information every time that I come in and order something small and pay with cash. At this point you have driven me away from your business. I just won't go there anymore. Like I said, the food isn't bad. I would continue to come there multiple times a week and spend my money. And since the food is good, I can overlook the child care issue. But to insist on my personal private information for absolutely no reason whatsoever has driven me away from this place I'm a local and I know a lot of people in the local area and those people know that I eat out a lot and are always asking me where the new good places are and there's no way that I could recommend this place as it is. These owners should know that without the locals, you're just not going to make it as a small pizza place in a town filled with pizza places. P.S. I guess I could understand why you have a tip jar even though that's not a tipable service, because everyone has a tip jar out nowadays, but a second tip jar for a college education and a third tip jar for a summer vacation? Why not put a tip jar to pay your mortgage and your car...
Read moreLet’s be honest, pizza is very subjective. We all have what we consider “the best in the area” or “our usual spot.” With that being said, it’s not often that I find a pizza place that actually “wows” me or is good enough to keep me from ordering from my usual spot (a well known place in Langhorne.) And on top of that, it’s incredibly difficult to find a pizza place that does everything well (pizza, cheesesteaks, sandwiches, etc.) That was until about April of this year, when I discovered A&G. I took a chance on their monthly $10 pizza special at the time and was blown away. The next time I tried their A&G Pizza, and again not disappointed at all. Then I started trying their sandwiches….holy s#*t. The cheesesteak…phenomenal. The buffalo chicken cheesesteak…ridiculous. And my favorite, The Drunk Dego…out of this friggin world! I even tried their house salad with the house dressing and it was awesome. And the chicken bacon ranch wrap is absolutely killer. The customer service is always fantastic as well. Gia always goes out of her way to greet me any time I’m in, and Eddie even called me out for not writing a review sooner haha. They definitely treat their customers like family. A&G has become a staple for me and on average I order from them about 3 nights a week. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, the food is always top notch, and the...
Read moreGot this from doordash for lunchtime from getting a medium sized stromboli with spinach added in and mariana sauce then some crinkle fries with ketchup on the side.
I was curious about the crinkle fries since on doordash it said to have them well done. After i tried some they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside which was a good thing. I had to stop myself from eating them so i could take a picture for it. However the fries had a little too much salt. The way this place cooked them though was pretty good for getting them crispy. I finished all the fries for lunch time.
The stromboli i ordered was slightly different since other places i ordered from didn't put garlic in theirs. So the garlic was a nice touch in the stromboli i ordered today. It was slightly soggy on certain spots (Most likely from the spinach) and a large cut on the top of the crust to one side of it, although the rest of the crust was okay. The mariana sauce was nice as well when dipping the ends with the cheese inside into the sauce.
Other then that, thank you for making this and I enjoyed trying this...
