Overall, decent BBQ 6/10

The good: The Turkey 9/10 - excellent turkey, juicy and good flavor. The Ribs 7/10 - solid flavor with good bite-through. Pulled clean at the bone. The Potato Salad - 7/10, creamy and solid flavor. Dill pickle based The sauce 8/10 - sweet and smooth. I’d prefer more pepper, but overall good. While it isn’t needed on the poultry, it was a must on the brisket. The atmosphere 9/10 - nice people, good country music, clean, and organized The mix of offerings - 10/10 they had every thing you’d expect at a BBQ joint. Mix of meats, side, baked potato’s,and multiple cobbler choices. The price - 10/10 cheaper than other places, so easier to go with family and friends

The OKs The beans - 6/10 a little bland. Could have used some spice and/or a little sweetness. I liked the mix of pinto and baked beans. I added some BBQ sauce and jalapeƱos to improve the flavor.

The bad The brisket (sliced beef on their menu) - 0/10 Really? You served that? You committed a BBQ sin in Texas! Brisket is the meat and frankly, what I had I’d be embarrassed to give to the dog. You can see in the photos it was dry. Like tree bark. Brisket should be moist, buttery with great bark and visible smoke ring. I had to have sauce just to eat the little of it I ate. I ate maybe a quarter of what they served me. If they can fix this issue and get their brisket up to their turkey and rib quality, Bigham could be a contender for top LBK BBQ.

Bottom line: Decent BBQ with no wait. Get their turkey and ribs. Avoid the Brisket, unless you like it super dry. I’ll go back if I’m in the mood for BBQ and other places are closed, sold out, or I don’t feel like standing in an...

I had placed an order online and set a specific pickup time for an hour from then. We got there about 5 minutes early and I sent my teenage son inside to pick it up. He was told when he got in there that they hadn't even started on it yet, and he was asked to have a seat and wait. After 30 minutes, I got out of the car and went inside to find out what was going on. My son had been sitting there all that time, waiting. I asked the only adult I saw working there what was going on, and she snapped at me and said that we had not told them we were there (not true) and that the order had been ready. No apology. Just rudeness, and telling me it was our fault. When I asked my son who he had spoken to, one of the teenage workers then spoke up and admitted that my son did tell him were there, but he forgot. Again, no apology for the accusation she was wrong about, and definitely zero accountability. She just stomped off back to the kitchen. At this point, the food was cold, with some of it like fries and a sandwich that could not be reheated well, and we also did not get the drinks I had paid for. So at the end of the all, I paid $70 for cold food, a nasty attitude, missing items, severe disappointment, and a waste...

No star would be more accurate. This place here is down right robbing people. A small entree was about 6.00 We got brisket that was about 5 very small slices. The large was 9.00..heres the thing it came with nothing..Sides ran 4 to 5 bucks my son ordered fries..Equivalent to a small fry at Mcdonalds for 3.75.I ordered the special which was chicken came with 2 sides but if I chose a tiny baked potato that would be my 2 sides so I chose beans and okra..Husband got the large meat entree 2 sides his meal alone totaled around 16.00 bucks. Our cost for very little food for 3 people was 40 plus..We had water to drink. Away from the cost factor the food specifically the smoked meat was dry, flavorless and tasted old..The brisket was like beef jerky, the chicken had a old funk taste to it EXTREMELY dry. The sausage was about the only tasty thing. The condiment bar was messy, trays were dirty with caked on food from other people..Absolutely will never return...If you want good food, good bbq clean facility, good prices stick Rudys, Or try the Shack, even Pinkies..Im willing to bet Valero gas station has...

Recommended by a few Lubbock locals to try Bigham Smokehouse. One can tell from the bee line from the drive through , this family own business since 1978 is popular with the local folk. If you’re from out of town, Expect humble, sweet hospitality from all the team members- managers or servers… smiles and laughs way going conversation. Some of the team members have been there since opening and they still afforded their best smiles to their guests. Love that about them. Family enjoys good bbq and Bigham’s did not disappoint. Pork ribs šŸ‘ŒšŸ½were moist and fall off the bone. The moist brisket was amazingly succulent šŸ‘ŒšŸ½šŸ‘ŒšŸ½and packed with flavor, and the smoked turkey … nothing short of well seasoned , smokey and tender. Brigham’s has got our vote. We’re coming back in the future for the chicken that sold out faster than one could cook ā€˜em!! That says how good it gets out here. Thank you for a lovely dining experience and hospitality and sweet smiles even though it’s been a blessed long day for y’all !! šŸ«¶šŸ½ā¤ļøšŸ«¶šŸ½ā¤ļø We are going to check out the musicians on your LP wall!!

Our first bbq stop in Texas! When you enter you line up to place your order (cafeteria style). The menu is quite large with many meat and side options. I went for the two meat combo which comes with one free side, and any additional sides after are half off. I highly recommend the pork belly! It was soooooo good. The sliced brisket was really tasty as well and if you prefer fattier cuts then ask for your brisket "wet". For my sides I chose the coleslaw and the potato salad. The coleslaw was nice and fresh. The potato salad was good too but a little too acidic for my liking. With the combo you also get a large drink, piece of buttered bread, and sides of pickles, onions, and jalapenos. Staff here are super nice and friendly! They made our first meal in Texas super memorable.
