Multiple bad experience with this local... Over a period of months hoped the owner would fix or hire better staff, it would seem he is the issue, I ordered 2 breakfast plates(chicken and gravy bowl and moon over my hammy sandwich) for curbside was told on the app it would be 20min. Got to the store maybe 18min later and understood that the apps are usually off on the wait time could not get anyone to answer the curbside phone, went in with the intention to wait a few mins, as I approached the glass was blurry from all the fingerprints looked like it hasn't been wiped in a few days, I walk in and are told it's not ready and to wait. I did, patiently, while sitting there I saw the walls were covered in spills or something sticky and noticed it was everywhere and different colors so it wasn't just one spill that didn't get cleaned up it was multiple, against my better judgement I continued to wait I watched a family come in a get seated in a booth that had just been cleaned with only a dry paper towel no liquid or spray or anything wet on towel, I had been in there for about 20min now after the projected time given. I decided to use the new family as my "I'm not waiting any longer" pace setter, If they get their food before me then I know I have been waiting for too long, so I continue to sit quietly and sure enough the family that showed up after I walked in, is getting their food before me so I ask for an update since it has to be almost ready now, was told it's still not ready and from watching the lady go to a ticket that hasn't even been placed on the order rack I knew they hadn't even started my order so I tell her that I can't wait anymore and to cancel my order and I walk out, my wife wanting to make sure they cancelled the order goes in to make sure and was told they serve the people inside first before pickup or curbside so by that logic since there was a new family coming in every 10min my order will never be filled in the hours of it being placed, then my wife was told that they have to wait for "Billy" to refund us, so again we waited and again I gave the benefit of the doubt assuming "Billy" was busy tallying up the weekend take so I gave a it a day or 2 that was Saturday it is now Tuesday and the charge is still on my card I waited over an hr in store and was still told I was not important enough to sever since I was a pickup/curbside, this has happened before we choose delivery and was called by door dash an hr after we put the order in he said they told him they hadn't even started the order so its the same story same location. ::::Update we had to finally call the store was told it hadn't came across his desk yet then we were called back by a different person named Bob he was nice and apologized and refunded the...
Read moreWhat got me was, you can tell by looking around that this place was very understaffed. Employees not showing up or just not wanting to work. Anyway, The staff that was there to do their job, did an excellent job. From the moment we walked in, the waitress sat us down, gave us our menus took out drink orders and then gave us time to look at the menu. Meanwhile she's trending to at least 10 other tables that I could see just in the front area. Quickly she returned with our drinks, took our order and always topped up our coffee cup with hot coffee. The waitress being the only waitress in site, never let our cups run empty. Our food came out in less than 8 minutes and it was cooked exactly the way we ordered it and it was nice and hot. Even after delivering our food to the table she came back to make sure everything was fine, we said yes, she said enjoy your breakfast and went on to her other tables. After about 15 minutes she returned and asked if anyone wanted dessert or to go drinks or anything else to which we replied no. She placed the ticket on the table, she said here is your ticket, no rush just whenever you're ready you pay upfront. Thanked us and wished us a great day. Service was amazing even after being short staffed, the waitress nor the cook ever lost their cool with a full house. Read moreWe were set immediately and our waitress was very sweet. We orders 2 breakfast plates and 2 chicken fried steaks dinners. The cook had the chicken fried steak dinners done first and they sat in the pass through for at least 5 minutes before the waitress brought them to us, mind you the breakfast plates were not completed (which were our kids food). By the time that we got the food the chicken fried steak dinners were both cold, when we asked to have them remade they offered warm them up in the microwave....... ummm no thank you. My daughters eggs were under cooked and had to be remade. The cook did come out and apologized that the food was cold and then made the excuse that the frier had not heated up that’s why it was cold!!!!! Ok well then why was the mashed potatoes old and the gravy and the broccoli??? The says I can make you something else but it will take a while to make the chicken fried steaks....... when the manager arrived at the store he apologized and said he would take the meals off the ticket bend we didn’t get to eat, I would hope so bends we didn’t get to eat!!! But then he didn’t take it off he did a promo discount for $25.00 so when we went to check out our bill was still $38.33 and my husband gets a military discount, he was inconvenienced to add the discount.
