QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Lubbock

I dined in at this location on 124th & Indiana during a Tuesday evening (about 7:30 p.m. to be exact) we had a wonderful dining experience here. The staff was phenomenal!! We received outstanding service with a smile, and all the staff members were very personable/helpful/polite; the type of service you would normally receive at an upscale restaurant from a waiter/waitress working for a tip (this entire evening staff sure deserved a tip that's for sure.) We had a build your own bowl, a quesadilla, and a brownie all of which were very tasty and fresh!! Upon finishing our meal we noticed the nice young man who checked us out went to wipe down the drink machine, made sure the lobby was clean, and cleaned the tables that needed to be cleaned. Overall this was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time here in Lubbock for a quick bite. It's refreshing to see people enjoy their job and not have a " I'm just here for a paycheck" type of attitude. Keep up the fantastic job here, and we will definitely keep...

I tried QDOBA for the first time today and I can definitely say I won’t be back. I ordered a bowl with the habanero lime steak. Some of the steak was tender but most of the steak was quite literally unchewable. No matter how long I chewed the meat did not break down enough to be swallowed. I was tired of gambling with the meat so I tried to just eat around it. The entire bowl was cold even the steak. I ordered fajita veggies but the bell peppers weren’t even barely cooked. They were basic just raw bell peppers. It just was a very off putting and honestly inedible meal. Luckily I ordered in the app and got a free chips and queso so I just ended up eating that since I could not eat the bowl. The chips were very over salted but the queso wasn’t too bad. We ordered the Keto post bowl. When we picked them up they were cold, and half emptied. When I called and talked to the Manager Gabe he basically blamed it on how long it took us to pick up our food and then he said it was because the bowl had to many cold food items that it made the chicken cold. We ended up throwing our food away and getting Chipotle. We filed a complaint with corporate they gave us 2 free entree items so we ordered the same product while sitting in the parking lot got to the window and had to wait for our food. we wanted to make sure it wasn't due to how long it took us to get our food.
