Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lubbock

I ordered $46 worth of stuff from this location. The car hop was very friendly and brought out our food. He asked me if we needed anything else, and I told him I forgot to order groovy sauce. He was in the middle of trying to hand me my receipt, but ran inside to get the sauce, which I was fine with. I drove off down the street, and my daughter noticed her chicken wrap and pretzel weren't in the bag. I turned around and pushed the button. The same car hop brought out those items and apologized. I was ok with it. Everyone makes mistakes. I got home, and my husband asked where his tots were and then my other daughter asked where her mozzarella cheesesticks were. Off I go back to Sonic. I pushed the button and told what was up, and the manager came out. I told him all of this, and he asked for the receipt (which I never got). I said, "It looks like a whole bag of food must have not been sent out the first time. He said, "That's highly unlikely. " I told him, "I'm not lying, if that's what you're thinking." He then asked what I was missing as I showed him my online order on my phone. He finally came back out and gave me a token for a free medium drink. I got home, and my son asked where his fries were in his kids' meal. I wondered why my order of fries was so small, so I handed him his fries. I was missing my medium order of fries. I did not go back for them. I was missing 5 items from our order, and it made me feel like he thought I was lying. I ate my cold burger with tears in my eyes. The whole ordeal made me feel so guilty. This is the closest sonic to my house, but I may be going to...

Well that was kind of interesting. The CarHop drops hot footlong Coney on my lap and it falls all the way to the floor of my truck. Cheese and chili oozing out the side of it burning my leg ( i was in shorts). He apologizes says I'll go back in there and grab you another. He nicely brings me some napkins but then he comes back out 5 minutes after and says I'm not going to make you another one till you give me the one that fell. I thought to myself I never asked for another one; you offered one. I told him don't worry about it and politely drove away. I'm not angry just don't understand this encounter. Why offer and waste our time. I guess my dogs are eating good tonight. Not only did I get a chili burn but I got a carhop burn too... 😞 and they got my daughters...

AGAIN....sonic...they do not pay attention. If it is in black and white and an "order ahead" then HOW DO YOU MESS IT UP? Because they do not pay attention. Have completely STOPPED going to 82md & University...Now, looks like going to have to do the same with 127th & Indiana. Who doesn't put syrup in when someone orders French toast? They weren't that busy. Lots of stalls open. I give respect where respect is due...but seriously...you want to make "better wages" but you can't even read an order that prints...
