Salata — Restaurant in Lubbock

TLDR: Great staff, good amount of food, not enough dressing, pricey if you like dressing.

First time eating here but it was highly recommended. The staff was amazing and attentive. I ordered a small custom salad online for pickup. My salad isn't missing anything and everything appears to be very fresh. The small salad is quite large in my opinion and certainly is a meal for one with maybe some left over for a small dinner salad depending on how much you eat. I knocked it down 2 stars because of the amount of dressing that is provided. I'm sure this is a corporate issue and not anything to do with the establishment or employees themselves. You get a souffle cup of your dressing. For the size of the salad and the arrangement of ingredients there is no way this even gets 1/4 of the salad with dressing. I am at work and do not have the means to get additional dressing from my fridge and even if I did, it doesn't match the dressing. The ranch dressing is very watery as well. So if you like dressing on your salad you will need to pay the additional cost for more dressing. Being that the lettuce is on the bottom of the salad, none of mine had dressing on it. I know if I were to order in the future I will need to add additional dressing but for the additional cost and the cost already, I don't think I will. I can spend less at other restaurants for similar salads and get a drink and more dressing for the same price. I didn't even get a drink. I'd recommend planing to spend at least $15 here if you get a salad with a meat and add no additions or drinks, the price will go...

This place is way overpriced for what they give you. They have no way to warm up the protein that you want to eat. (Nobody likes cold chicken or salmon or beef strips). They have a nice variety it's just they are just way to sparing with the servings. As far as cleanliness goes, couldn't find a clean table at all restaurant. Service is great just not a place to call a salad bar. And their soup has no chicken in it. Don't order none of the extras because they are too sparing with the servings.
