Taco Villa — Restaurant in Lubbock

Had a friend go pick up my lunch , I ordered a double chicken quesadilla and chicken nachos with extra chicken and extra cheese , she was than told they were out of chicken and only had enough for my quesadillas & offered steak instead . (I was order #512) When I got my food , there was just cheese on them . I wouldn’t have called back but we were charged for chicken and extra chicken. When I called back I spoke to Adrianna & she said to just bring the receipt and let them know we spoke to her and she would fix our meal & that chicken was ready so I could have what I asked for . When we returned to the store Elena was the manager to help my friend . Elena was completely rude , not helpful what so ever & when my friend told her she spoke to Adrianna she said ‘okay and ‘ & ‘ so what do you want me to do about this ‘ she than went to the back and said ‘chicken still has another 25 minutes ‘ very snarky. We than asked for the steak like we were offered and Elena turned around and yelled to the staff ‘ CAN SOME BODY MAKE THIS LADY HER NACHOS’ . I have worked for taco villa before . & isn’t y’all’s Moto LOVE ALL SERVE ALL & VISIBLE POSITIVE EVERGY??? Bc y’all’s store is definitely doing it wrong . & when she came back for a second time with my food I had 3 pieces of steak on it . THEEE !! This was a horrible experience and probably won’t ever order food here again . If nothing is done about the management team & especially ELENA than I will be contacting Chris my self & we’ll see what he has to say...

Update: It's been over 4 years since I made this review, and nothing has changed. Zero stars if I could. This location won't last much longer doing business like this. Gonna end up like the one across from Lbk High. Shut down. If you need your taco villa fix - literally GO TO ANY OTHER LOCATION where they do things right. (82nd and Indiana is the best one. But the others don't mess up as bad as this one.)

Original review: Worst location in town. In calling about a messed up order and a missing item the manager was happy enough to fix it even remember my order, but then the next time I could get back up there(four days later) was told they wouldn't fix what was missing. That they had since put a 24 HR time limit on it. If this was the case, it should have been relayed at the time of speaking to management. Which it was not. If it was a new thing, they should at least honor their word and inform for any future instance. So, in essence, they steal from you. Bad business. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. You...

After multiple experiences, this Taco Villa is decidedly awful. Every single time there is at least one thing wrong with my order ranging from giving me the wrong order, to making the order wrong. I have waited close to an hour for a burrito before because they “ran out of beans,” and most recently my wife and I received burritos with grayish colored beans which did not taste right and were gritty and dry in parts. I don’t know how Taco Villa prepares their beans, but it seemed like dehydrated beans that did not get rehydrated and cooked properly.

I usually order burritos with extra sauce and cheese because this restaurant tends to short you, but they usually don’t add the extra amount either; they have mistakenly added extra beans once or twice.

I have eaten here dozens of times, trying to be understanding because it is a fast food restaurant, and I like Taco Villa, but I’m done eating here. Unless this place gets new management, I would highly recommend eating...
