Mill's Tavern & Grille — Restaurant in Ludlow

My husband and I went Saturday, at 6:00, we got seated in the lounge, waitress asked us if we wanted a drink, my husband asked for Jack and coke, I asked for a margaritas, waitress came over with the jack and coke, they didn't have the tequilla I wanted, so I went up to the bar they said they only had the Cuervo gold, so I said ok, use that, we waited and waited and waited, waitress is going to other tables, and we got completely ignored, my husband put $5 down for his drink, which he did not finish and we walked out, the waitress watch us and others nobody said anything to us. It was like we were Invisible, never been treated like that anywhere, will never go there again, and this was our first time. I give zero stars, never got to try the food, awful service as we got ignored, and we leave a big tip, so girl your loss ,we both worked in restaurants and bars. Completely enjoyed lunch at Mill’s 6/5/24,( a short walk from Luciano Stadium). I-started with an appetizer of Bolinhos de Caranguejo(crab cakes)/8, house made, perfect texture very tasty- I dip them lightly in olive oil and red pepper flakes- which I prepared at my table. I ordered the Lunch Special- grilled calamari with small round boiled potatoes- perfect portions of each. The calamari was grilled to excellent texture, moistness and grill marks- DELICIOUS. This restaurant is genuinely unimpressive. The food is average…I guess unless you order the couple traditional portuguese dishes. But the menu is boring besides that. We weren’t sure if we could trust a random restaurant to serve fresh seafood so we tried to make safer choices…apparently the wrong move. The ambiance is bad. It feels like a dive bar. The entry room was un-decorated, tables not set up. I was almost unsure we were in the right place. There was no hostess stand, no hostess to greet you or tell you where to go.
