Hardee’s — Restaurant in Lumberton

Nasty nasty nasty. Traveling and stopped in for food before hitting the road for another 11 hours. Ordered food and sat down. Sandwich had ketchup and mustard. Asked for only mayo. Cashier verified what I said was on the ticket. Told guy making Sandwich that he made it wrong. He argued that it wasn't ketchup it was special start sauce. Asked her to have him remake it as she even saw that specific toppings were requested. He got mad and took his bare hands with the cleaning rag and placed my bun in the bun oven. Immediately Told the cashier I'm not comfortable eating a sandwich if he didn't wash his hands or wear gloves. She laughed and called the manager. The manager was in the restroom. Waited about 20 mins. She came out and said what combo do you want a refund on. Didn't ask what happened. So I explained. She laughed. The other cashier laughed and then involved another customer in it.

I usually love Hardee's, but not tonight and not this location. It was quick, sure, but the food was bad. I ordered 2 Blt Frisco Burger meals, a mushroom Swiss burger meal with extra mushroom sauce on the side, and a 10 piece chicken tenders. Half the tenders were great, hot and crispy, the other half were cold and burnt. They tasted like they has been sitting for a while. When we got home and handed out the food, we noticed that we were missing one of Blt Frisco burgers, and the side of mushroom sauce. Not only that but the mushroom Swiss burger barely had any of the sauce in the first place, it was super dry. I wouldn't be leaving this review if they had answered their phone when I called to ask about the food, I called 3 times, and they didn't answer...

Stopped in for a fountain drink, order of onion rings and the kids asked for milkshakes (total of 3). Took well over 20 minutes and no one else was in the dining room and only two cars in the drive thru. Went inside to use the bathroom and the entire restaurant was horribly dirty; literally everywhere. Sticky floors, surfaces, etc. The soda fountain area was embarrassing. The lid & straw caddy was dirty and sticky. Every surface in this place needs deep cleaning. Super gross. Employees didn’t seem very happy or motivated at all either which I kinda understand, who would want to work in a place like that??! Definitely wouldn’t ever visit this location again in the...
