Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Lynchburg

The drive-thru line was short but took forever to get to place my order, then another lifetime to get to the window to pay . They had my order wrong and didn't have my drink on the order. I tried to pay for them to correct my order and add the drink the girl working the window was completely rude and said she couldn't add me anything additional to my order. I would have to get back in line to order a drink. I tried to explain I've waited at least 30 minutes in line by then and it's not my fault that they got my order wrong. By the end of it I drove away with no drink and when I got home my chicken looked like it was maybe the size and shape of a child's dinosaur nugget, not to mention tuff as wet leather. My clams turned out to be maybe 4 or 5 hidden in a box of crunchy crumbs . My slaw was hot . I will never go back . Bad food , worst service ever from a fast food joint besides Wendy's next to...

Went here Mother's Day with my father & grandmother. My grandmother wanted Long John Silver's for mother's day. The inside of the building was very clean, the staff was helpful & very friendly. I even witnessed an employee go around tables asking if they needed anything. Gave you a Red lobster vibe more than a fast food place vibe. I ordered a Fish & Chicken platter, It was delicious. The sides I chose where rice & fries, the rice was legit so good I could see myself coming back just to order a bowl of rice. The fries where hot & fresh and salted to perfection. And the hush puppies where good. My family ordered the same thing as me but chose coleslaw as a side, me myself I don't like coleslaw. But my Father & Grandma said the coleslaw was delicious. Terrible customer service food is overpriced and did I mention how unprofessional the employees are if they short you on food they will ask you what's up as if they want to fight you for making a complaint about how you did not get the correct order. You pay over $50 you don't get the food you pay for and how dare you call them to make it right, you will get threatened and hung up on, they have no one who holds them responsible everyone you speak to will say they are a manager they will refuse to give you a corporate number to call. I don't know of many people who eat here but I hope people who value their money and don't support an establishment that has thugs to answer the phones and take care of customers they have inconvenienced.
