"This is a clean and pleasant café. It is well lighted. The light is very good and also, now, there are shadows of the leaves." I think Hemingway nailed his review of this cafe. Whether you are a remote worker, parent looking for a break in-between drop off/pickup, or a lonely insomniac looking for a drink in the evening, this place is for you.

The smoothie bowl was excellent. Flavorful and filling. The coffee options are currently limited, but high quality. The WifI is unfortunately more than fast enough for a virtual meeting. The atmosphere is marvelous. Cozy seating and leafy, oxygen producing friends abound with a funky and fun square bench centerpiece that my daughter will no doubt turn into a gymnastics apparatus on a future visit (I apologize in advance, but you knew it was going to happen...)

Googled “best salad in Lynchburg” and Palmera House was top of the list. First time visiting today and had the Gem Brie salad and a glass of Raza chilled white. Perfect. The Brie paired beautifully with the fig. Love the atmosphere! Great space and PLANTS!
