Scratch - please consider making your offerings vegetarian friendly - for instance the risotto could be made vegetarian if vegetable stock was used instead of chicken stock. I got the fresh made mushroom pasta. Although it took double the time than recommended to be cooked al dente, the pasta was delicious. If you are looking for gifting ideas for people who seem to have it all, Scratch pasta makes it easy to make your own gift basket. There are gift baskets to choose from instore or online. I got a custom one made at the store. You can also get pasta/cooking related gadgets if you want to make your own pasta, cookbooks, etc. Knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Very cute gourmet market! We purchased two types of noodles and two sauces for dinner tomorrow night. We’ve heard amazing things so we’re excited to try. We also bought some cracker dips to use at a party which look amazing. Customer service was appropriate, smiling and friendly.

Reminds me of NY.

I grabbed a loaf of frozen Italian bread and about a pound of fresh linguine for tonight’s dinner, chicken and broccoli alfredo. (Yes I know traditionally it’s made with fettuccine, but hey, close enough lol).

This was the best authentic Italian bread i have had so far. After allowing it to defrost for a couple of hours, i stuck it in the oven at 325 for a couple of minutes. The. Crust. Though. Perfection!

The linguine was my hubby’s favorite part of the dish and with the recommended cook time, it was perfect. I will say I do like my noods on the al dente side though, just a heads up.

Overall, the vibe of the store was nice and reminded me of Upstate NY. We will be...

I stumbled across Scratch Pasta Co by accident and it instantly became my favorite store in Lynchburg! I am from a big city and we have Williams Sonoma all over, but in Lynchburg there is nothing even remotely close to it. Until I found Scratch Pasta Co! This place has everything you could think of and even better variations of what you already know. One of the things you MUST try there is the Feta that owner Stephanie and her Greek Husband make homemade. It is 10/10 spectacular.
