Update: Price have stayed the same but portion sizes have diminished. Their pizzas are now four slices when in my photo there is clearly more.I asked if there was a switch they said it’s been the same but no it has not .
Vegan and vegetarian options ! I’m so glad my friend and I checked out this beautiful, boho/Aztec crafted cafe . The character, ambiance and quietness was inviting and peaceful. The storefront is small and welcoming but after walking in the door it’s grandness will make you think “WOW, I didn’t expect this .” Tall ceiling, herbs from wall to wall, books , plants , light and airy atmosphere , happiness and love was given, and food was impeccably delicious . The coffee cake reminded me of a cornbread batter, the pesto pizza with veggies was FRESH😍, enjoyed my goji Berry smoothie 8its more liquidity than thick - not what I’m used to but not a problem either , my friend enjoyed her tea as well . I have been looking for another plant based spot to spend time in and I’m glad this is here and local.
The only downside would be the floors . In certain spots it fees like you will fall threw so be cautious and careful . Also, the smoothies are more liquidity than thick.
Hands down better than The Press downtown . They can’t even compare to...
Read moreWe make it a point to check out all the local, unique coffee shops and Wild Root was definitely a score! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the Barista and asked if we had been there before and we told him no, so he was explaining the coffee shop to us and explaning the different drinks that we were asking about on the menu, not only do they have unique coffees but they also have an awesome selection of teas as well, he explained to us that they use all natural herbs and spices and that they also like to use as least ingredients as possible. He had nothing but good things to say about the owners, which was very refreshing. The furniture and decor was very comfortable and inviting, they also have a row of shelving and I thought it would be neat if people would bring in books and maybe they could post a sign that said you can take a book, if you leave a book, since a lot of people like to go to places like that to read. They also serve delicious food and they recently got their liquor license so they sell beer. We all loved the drinks that we had and we will...
Read moreI was referred here by a friend. I love coffee and found the atmosphere visually appealing. However, the staff and barista are not friendly to new guests. I ordered a black coffee and cold brew for my husband. After waiting 15 minutes, I decided to approach the counter to see if there was an issue. The barista ignored me, and decided to give attention to another guest who already had their coffee and it seemed that they were friends. They carried on a conversation while my coffee was slowly made. While causal talk is great, I think considering the guests waiting for coffee is better time spent. I wasn't given a fraction of the same attention that other guests received. It appears very clicky here, and perhaps I disrupted that. I will not be returning. The coffee quality is not very good either. Just...
