Touch of Velvet — Restaurant in Lynn Haven

Their bakery items are absolutely amazing....the best I've ever had HOWEVER, their customer service is bad. I'm particularly referencing the lady at the counter. Most of times I go in there, she has an unpleasant attitude. I remember one time I called and nicely explained to her that I loved their cupcakes, but with their business hours closing at 4 during the week and closed on the weekends, I'm unable to go out there. Their hours are aligned with the hours of most businesses, thus most people are working when they are open. She responded rudely, "well, if you want it that bad, you'll find a way to get them." I was taken back by her comment, as it was so unprofessional. Further, I ordered several cupcakes and asked her for some napkins, she acted like it killed her to give me some, hence her reason for only giving me one. Mind you, my children and I were going to eat cupcakes WITH ICING on the go and we all know how messy it can be. What are we supposed to do with 1 napkin??? And then had the nerve to be talking about attending church.....hopefully to get delivered from that bad attitude! Their bad customer service and odd hours have resulted in me only going there occasionally.....I mean, I have to be really desperate and badly craving their cupcakes to go there. The guy on the other hand is very pleasant, but he rarely works the front counter. I believe he works in the back....baking...

First we always go to Publix to buy cake fortunately they sold out of the flavor we want so I google for Red velvet cake and pops up this store so I check all the reviews mostly 5 stars and I said they deserve a chance and bought the cake I wanted luckily one of the best cake I ever ate and my daughter birthday was joyful and everyone commented on best cake and I shared their information since they deserved more than 5 star the only thing is you pay for what you get so if you only want bargains price and not the quality then you need to go box store and buy junk cake. If you really want to all enjoy then you pay little more for the quality and support some locals is good for economy. In other words keep locals in business. God Always blessed our Nation. United...

I’m very disappointed at this bakery’s products. The red velvet cake cost 40 dollars, and it looks like the kind of cake I would make myself from a box in a supermarket. I wish I could post photos (I posted some on yelp), because it didn’t at all meet what one would reasonably expect from a 40 dollar cake. This was a cake for a birthday, but it wasn’t at all what we expected. The cashier never showed the cake when it was picked up, and when we asked for a refund for this cake and the woman on the phone said she wouldn’t do that but we could ‘give it to someone else who would eat it.’ We tasted a corner of the cake, and the flavor was okay, but when I spend 40 dollars on a cake I expect there to be some measure of quality...
